Reputation resolvers instead of having Moderators deal with unreasonable neg reps or revenge reps these people come in and do it instead
it is helpful for mcm as moderators have to deal with other things not only the reputation system

kthxbye

too lazy to write a whole 1000lines like what most people do

At this point in time rep means nothing. Randos have tons of rep from selling of capes and shit like that while others with lower rep have done actual deals with significant value. I saw some rep that said, "helped me in chat box." Do you really think that's something that people should be basing their ability to trust a user on? The rep system is garbage and profile Vouches should be utilized more because it's easier to give more info and it's not a competition with people begging for rep because there's no number attached.
First of all they gained their rep by selling which is the point of the market buy, sell, trade second of all that is the job of a reputation resolver to remove that false rep vouch helped me in the chatbox? is unreasonable as well users do base their trust on rep from what i have seen in the market and i do as well agree that the rep system is garbage also i disagree on how vouch's should be utilized as it is the opposite, people beg for reps and that i can't disagree which is why it should force people to link to deal thread rather than having it optional.

Moderation does this just fine.
You've never tried to get a false reputation removed I see.

While I do agree that they've gained their reputation from successful deals, a $2,000 deal shouldn't be made equitable to a $1 deal in terms of how users base their trust which is why the reputation system is flawed and an entire rework should be done in my opinion which would mean reputation resolvers aren't needed(?) if that made sense, if it didn't I apologize, made sense as I was typing it.

I'd just like to clarify that simply having a complaint about the reputation system does not automatically validate every suggestion for every sort of alteration to it as a good idea.
Y'all gotta realise that when there is so much support for literally any suggestion on the topic like you said, you have a real issue with an aspect of your business. You guys (McM as an entity) needs to listen to what the community is literally screaming.

Haha I get you. It's just logical for a business, if the users of your service or site are begging for change, you give them change before they start looking into using other sites.

This is already happening.
Unfortunately so, especially a forum designed for a game that is already dying, losing your userbase to other sites is another huge constant blow.

Not only that, updates and progresses takes way too long. Lack of Scam Resolvers is a good example of that.

Yeah, they finally just added a Scam Resolver didn't they? It's nice to see they finally listened, but 1-3 months after-the-fact is way too late in my opinion

Now why not add someone to deal with this shitty reputation system?

Mighty Mick says:

We're sorry but we can't add reputation revolvers because they're just useless as the moderators are doing their job amazingly.

I do like the suggestion and honestly, I don't really have anything against it.
The only thing is, would it be better to just put 1 Moderator specifically on the task of resolving reputation reports?
Like this way, a whole new rank doesn't have to be created. And I know it's not difficult to create a new rank itself but a rank for a person that does the job that other moderators can do seems slightly repetitive if you get what I mean.
If 1, and maybe 2, moderators were set to mainly just focus on reputation, they can make sure those reports are resolved before possibly helping out with general moderation but still have moderators who do post/thread moderation mainly.
I believe Justis (or maybe someone else) mentioned something similar earlier in the thread but I'm not sure as I only skimmed through the replies.
