Looking for Mature staff to help me Setup and Run a Heavy Combat Oriented server. We have been making it for about 3 years now and we are getting fairly close to being able to have it really play tested. Discord is required , Mic is required , Perms are not just freely handed out to anyone. I am an experienced owner and have been doing it for many years so I am definitely looking for specific traits.
About the server:
-You start at level 1 (in spawn) you choose a class
-After class is chosen you choose a starting battle pet
-You Then assign your currently available Class skill to your bindings to use in combat
-You then will complete a series on tutorial quests Within the spawn
-Once completed you gain access into the spawn where you can freely roam about and use the Portal to go to the Main World (Factions)
-The Hub you will teleport to is in the center of the factions world
-You will spawn there as level 5 due to spawn quests, and you will see customized mobs spawning in the world around you
-The further from the spawn point the higher the level of the mobs
-The higher the level of the mobs the better the drops from them
-All class gear is stat randomized within certain parameters so you could start with a Helmet that gives 0.84 Armor (amongst other stats) and pick up a helmet from a mob you killed that has 0.97 Armor.
-Also, There are bonus stats that could be rolled onto a piece of gear
-There are Multiple types of drops that will occur from mobs including Currency, (Gold Coin) Gems, Toolkits, Crate tokens
-Gems: For example, you kill a mob that drops a Rare Armor gem, gives 1 Armor, you then look on your gear/weapon to locate a Defensive Gem Slot to put it into. Being that armor is defensive, the Gem is only able to put into a defensive gemstone slot, which will then give you an additional 1 armor
-Pets level up as well, and can gain more skills and improve at their jobs over time
-Being that it is a Faction server, the Mobs are also in factions, meaning, they will spawn together and work together to remove any other factions in they come across
-What this means for you , If you are walking and you come across a Pack of Bandits (and they are aggro'd onto you) ofc you can fight them, but if instead you Hide from their view and another mob factions happens to come through the area, the Bandits and the other mob faction would fight, leaving all drops on the ground for you to snipe after they kill each other =)
-You can deconstruct old gear using Toolkits (another drop from mobs) into another form of material, For example, on your journeys you pick up 15 pieces of gear that is either poor rng on the stats, or for a different class and you use 15 toolkits to break them down into Scrap metal, You can then bring the scrap metal to a spawn NPC who might trade you a Rare gem, which you can then use on your Actual Gear
-There are bosses that spawn in the world at given coords , which will be announced server wide so all players know where the boss is, and when it will be there
-Nether mobs at level 1 are equivalent of level 100 Overworld mobs
-ATM every class has 4 Abilities and 1 Passive ability, you will gain up to the 4 abilities as you level up
-Almost all Vanilla aspects of the game are still implemented
CURRENTLY IMPLEMENTING - Server to go into day/night cycle. During day, less types of factions will spawn, also with less frequency. Once server enters night cycle it will display to all players server wide and will trigger more types of factions to spawn, also with higher frequency
There is A LOT to cover with this server , Nvm the nether lmao , that place is hard...
What I am looking for:
-I need help with people who can manage / communicate often-ish on the discord side of things
-I need people who like to OCD and find bugs or unintended easter eggs around the builds
-I need people who like to organize
-I need people who are savvy in the Config editing department
-I need people who might want to help find others to playtest
-I need people with a good eye for color coding
-I need someone who is Good at Quest theory and Implementing them
