A little Background into this project:
Hey guys, so for quite some time I have been working on a launcher for a custom Tekkit Classic server. I know you might be thinking "The hell is he doing on Tekkit Classic, that shit is 1.2.5, ain't nobody got time for dat". During my "prime, lets say" in Minecraft, Tekkit Classic was huge. There were servers everywhere and custom server lists made just for TC. Unfortunately, due to how some of the parts of that Minecraft version were programmed, it didn't age all that well. Skins are now broken for 1.2.5 versions, people absolutely hate not being able to click-drag to paint items into the crafting table (as of 1.9 don't quote me on this, I don't remember the exact version), No toggle sprint/hold sprint. Regardless, most Minecraft users now-a days are so accustomed to later versions than 1.2.5 it makes it extremely difficult to transition back to 1.2.5.
For quite a while I have been wanting to revive some sort of Tekkit Classic server that addresses some, or all of these issues. The goal of the server is simply to serve as a totem of Nostalgia to those who once played TC. We are not looking to open a server to simply make money as most, if not all people do now a days. The server is 100% privately funded out of pocket, and will not go offline regardless of donations or not. For once, the word Donations is correct!
To achieve some sort of medium to make users want to come back and play in 1.2.5, I have been rewiring several core classes of Minecraft to address the issues mentioned above. In order to implement these features conveniently, I decided to write a launcher to accompany the server. The server will not require users to be using the launcher, making it optional for our users. By using our Launcher, the custom core-fixes I have implemented will be automatically installed along-side Tekkit Classic for you. It also provides things such as a news feed and profile page you can use to view some pretty cool stuff.
What exactly will this launcher do for me? How will I benefit?
By utilizing the launcher instead of the regulate TechnicLauncher, you will be granted many fixes and optimizations such as, but not limited to:

What are you looking for?
I am looking to host a small PT (Private Test) group to flesh out final bugs & issues before release. Currently only Windows is supported. The reasoning behind this is I do not own a Mac to test on, and VM OSX does not support OpenGL, so it leaves me with 0 options for OSX testing. If I could find a couple users who are on OSX so I can run tests, and add OSX support, it would be very useful. I am only looking for a small group of people, maybe 5-10 users on Windows max. You will be able to test every feature in the launcher and even play on the staging version of the server (Keep in mind, the server will be reset for release).
If you are interested in testing, reply below, or PM me. I will provide you a download link you can use to grab a distribution of the launcher. Once you have the launcher, you won't need to download it again (unless its deleted) because if its Auto-Updating feature.
Without any further adieu, I suppose I should share some images to display what the Launcher actually looks like.

P.S Special thanks to Croc for his UI design. He did an absolutely amazing job, and I am looking forward to having him design some more elements in the Launcher.

In-Game:
- Skin Fix
- Cape Fix
- Modern Crafting Mechanics (drag to paint items)
- Modern Sprinting Mechanics (bind a hold key, or toggle key)
- WAILA (Also known as What Am I Looking At, It has become pretty standard in almost every modpack currently maintained)
- WAIH/W (Also known as What Am I Holding / Wearing, Similar to ArmorHud)
- Crisp Fonts
- Server newsfeed & events
- Easily able to swap profiles
- Able to launch multiple game instances, using multiple profiles instantly
- Slick Minecraft Profile viewing page (Skin, UUID, NameMC link, Head, etc)
- Incredibly fast download, install & launching (assets are no longer broken up into hundreds of small files)
- Auto Updating
- Auto Game File Updating
