Hey so have you ever had a resource and couldn't think of what features to add in for the resource's future updates yet?

Well this feature would be good,

if you ever wanted to make a poll and make your buyers choose it would really be helpful as you know what exactly your buyers like!

Maybe something like this
t4SDL15k.png

More Detail:
-> If paid resource, only buyers can vote.
-> If free resource, only users who have downloaded the latest file can vote.
-> If paid resource, author can make poll private or public. (Should be choosable)
-> Pre-scheduled polls.
-> Lifetime polls that can be ended anytime by the author.
-> If free resource, only users who have registered for more than a month or has enough activity on mc-market can vote. (to prevent spam)
-> Paid resource buyers should get a notification saying a new poll is awaiting them. (Cannot turn off, will need supreme to be able to turn off)
-> Free resource downloaders should get a notification but they can turn it on and off as its a free resource.

What do you think?
Not everyone has discord or would join your support discord.
I've had a guy leave my discord server asap once his issue was resolved.

EDIT: looks like someone decided to ignore the end part so I'm gonna just type this more detailed.
I barely have 40-50% of my buyers in the discord server as i always include instructions in the setup which doesn't need them to join unless they break something or have an issue.
I've had only inexperienced buyers who ask me what multiverse core is in my discord support.
Pretty hard to ask them about features as they're gonna ask me to add features that they've thought in their fantasy + they're probably not possible to add due to the current limited free plugins.
So ya
Gonna say again that not every buyer joins the support discord.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Not a bad idea, possibly, also an option to allow non buyers to vote if wanted.

Personally, I see no use in this feature.

Sure it's cool but a lot of people have an already established Discord Support group where they can host these types of events. I don't think this feature will be utilized very much at all and would become redundant very quickly.

I've already mentioned why discord support server polls aren't going to work properly as not every buyer joins it. Only buyers who need help or have questions join.

I've added extra details to the post. Please read it.

I did read the entire thread, It does not take away from the feature being a gimmick. If you do not have many people in your support Discord, it seems like there is an issue with your thread, you need to give them a clear call to action on how to join the support Discord. If people don't feel the need to join your community on Discord then what makes you think they would even go onto the poll section of the resource page, Heck I imagine people don't even check the updates page of resources they purchase.

Your argument here: 'Gonna say again that not every buyer joins the support discord.'. I can say the same thing about your showcased poll page of resources, People just want the resource they paid for. They do not want to engage in tiny micro-communities, if they're proactive about your resources they will come to you and ask for features and give you suggestions. The majority of users and buyers of any resource will not take part in Polls, give you suggestions, or heck, you said it yourself, join a support Discord; They want the resource they purchased and they want it to work.

You've mentioned an idea about notifications, which only supreme users can turn off. This is possibly going to be one of the most annoying things ever. Imagine having to pay to get rid of spam emails from your email, the same thing applies here. It's silly, the feature will be overused and will spam the heck out of everybody, causing people to vote for a mute option for nonpremium/supreme users, which in turn lowers the people who will actually engage on the polls, and then the same issue arises. "Not enough people are engaging with my resource, so I am unable to push updates that my customers want, so I am putting a suggestion where we make a Polls mandatory for all people that have purchased my resource!".

Overall, I think this idea will not be utilized enough by the buyers of resources and overused by resource authors, causing them to spam their customer's notifications for pointless things.
