Creator Updates Review Policy and Merchant Agreement Updates

Hi creators,

Got a few small things I wanted to let you know about!

Resource review updates​

We've added two new expectations to our review policies:

• Reviews cannot reference competing products
• Reviews regarding the price must specify the price at the time of purchase

It's a relatively minor change, but given how important our review policies are to a lot of creators we just wanted to bring this to your attention.

Merchant Agreement updates​

We've added a new section to the Merchant Agreement to formalise our support expectations beyond just bug fixes:

Any requests for support in receiving a purchased product or getting the product to function as described within the first thirty days after purchase must be responded to within five days and resolved without undue delay or a refund will be due.

BuiltByBit has always maintained that creators must provide a certain standard of support to their buyers or else a refund would need to be provided, but this clarification makes those expectations more explicit. Note that this update only relates to support to get the resource to function as described, it does not mean that you must add features upon request which were not advertised as being present within the product at the time of purchase.

Feedback on resource category filters​

We're currently working on redesigning category pages to significantly increase the importance of filters. We're revisiting our current filters in each resource category to improve them by tweaking how existing filters work and adding new options.

We're looking for feedback from creators on what ideas you have for improving filtering in the categories you post in. It would be awesome if you could spare a couple of minutes to look at the filters available in your categories right now and come up with ideas for what's missing or could be better about them.
