Expecting rewards just because you couldn't get online for three days is a bit ridiculous and demanding.
He isn't expecting rewards because of the downtime, he is expecting rewards because he was promised rewards as a result of the downtime.

The only reason I was asking was because they said it, I am not concerned about it too much I just wanted to know whether or not it was going to happen. Plus I am not saying that we should get free stuff, but a sale would be nice.

The reason I am upset is because they said that we would be rewarded for the downtime and then deleted their post after MCM became live again. It just seems very unprofessional.



BTW: I am not even sure that Mick made that Tweet because to my knowledge all the staff members have unrestricted access to their twitter account.

Makes sense. I just thought that you were expecting to be compensated for the down time and wanted free rewards.

I wouldn't say its too ridiculous, seeing how we rely on these forums, and noting the fact they got our hopes up by tweeting that there will be some surprises in the store, though its not needed, if they really cared about the community they would give a "sorry" special of some sort, though I'm just saying they should have, they are not obligated to and don't have to. It just let us down a little after the false promise of "surprises in the store"

I didn't see the Tweet so I had no idea they even said this. So it didn't exactly let me down I guess. But if they did promise it, then I guess they should go ahead and do something. Like you stated through, they don't really have to do anything. I don't expect them to.

What also is a bit ridiculous is the fact that Mick hasn't made a single post acknowledging the downtime, like he was trying to avoid talking about it. Though I could understand not wanting to share your mistakes, its his job as the owner to take responsibility of a downtime of 3 days and not just let it go un-seen by him. But oh well, just wanted to get that out there, sorry.

Sadly.. I did not even hear about these "rewards"..

I'll look into this with Mick.

TIP: When I use the Twitter, I do - K3 or a type of way to show it is me who is tweeting from the account.
