So I just got a email from Amazon regarding the swegway I bought back in September. Apparently the plug is wrong so they decided to refund my money and tell me to destroy the swegway.

Yeah they can, I've had mine for 3 months and hasn't blown up yet. At least I got refunded. Amazon are legends

There's been a couple of fires that started from a cheap swegway/segboard/whatever you want to call it. Only few thoroughly tested ones are still on Amazon.

Why did you/do others even buy these? Sure, they're kinda cool, but they're illegal to use on public roads. Basically, only allowed on private properties and like skateparks. And not to mention, dangerous in multiple ways.

Funny thing is, the pd don't arrest you because it's hours of paperwork for a start. I've ridden mine in town and all with police officers and they didn't mutter a word.

Mother fucker mine arrives today at 8 PM you can't be saying shit like this I've been waiting 2.5 months for it.

Had mine for 3 months, no problems what-so-ever. Just whatever you do, DO NOT CHARGE FOR MORE THAN 2 HOURS AT A TIME, otherwise it shall blow up just like the 2 isis members who blew their bomb up and killed eachother in the middle of a bomb factory.
