Rule the middleman section

There's way too much random in the middleman section and I honestly think someone, in order to be able to be a middleman, should be on the site for AT LEAST 2 years and have more than 50 reputations. People can just buy a shit loads of 1$ items and gain 100 positive reputations when they have been on the site for a month and some users will think they're trustworthy.

Most people will disagree because they're new to the site, but to be considered trustworthy, you need to prove it and I think that a good way to prove it is to be an old member. Personally, I relate more on the joining date than the reputation.

I think this is a good idea, but lower the requirements by a little. I think maybe 25 reputation and 6 months would be good, and it's up to the users in the deal to decide who to use as a middleman. The only reason I think there should be a limit at all is because of people with 0-10 rep trying to be a middleman and charging a fee.

My point is that you can't trust nobody anymore because of multiple mms like : RTG (only ogs know), Fraud2, ImPrank, etc. It would just be an extra precaution and would help a lot of new users.

I know my opinion may be looked down on because I am a new user however, the person who is using the mm should personally see if they think there trustworthy in there eyes.

Who wouldn't have trusted Prank or Fraud ? They scammed more than 1k easily.

I understand but I still think that some requirements for the middleman section would be good. Most forums do that so why this forum shouldn't ? Never heard of a mm scam anywhere else

I agree with you however, I have definitely heard of mm scams even with these rules.

Fraud only had 69 reputation, he wasn't that reputable compared to others.

I mean middleman for me are people you should be able to trust and relate on, it's confusing when you see 23 pages of middleman's thread saying they're the best.

Yeah I agree that there needs to be some sort of requirements for it, I was just saying that because two middlemen scammed, that doesn't mean that you can't trust anyone.

I disagree, and I'd say I'm a fair bit more well known than you. As someone mentioned above, it is up to the person lookin' for a MM to decide who to pick, no one is holding them at gunpoint. I myself, won't ever use anyone but LonelyTree, a old sorta-friend of mine, because I've talked to dozens of people who've delt with said user, and had little to no issues. All in all, I can agree to some light restrictions such as:

• 2 months of being on MCM
• 10+ reputation and
  
• 250 posts
• No outstanding scam reports.
