There's way too much random in the middleman section and I honestly think someone, in order to be able to be a middleman, should be on the site for AT LEAST 2 years and have more than 50 reputations. People can just buy a shit loads of 1$ items and gain 100 positive reputations when they have been on the site for a month and some users will think they're trustworthy.

they should also get rid of/move the old/inactive threads/threads by banned members to another section so it looks a lot cleaner

edit: and ofc the threads that say closed, the ones from randoms with no rank and no rep, requesting mm threads from long ago, literally just what i said on top of the edit

edit #2: Official the requirements you stated may be a little too much, but yes they should definitely enforce rules. maybe 1 year and like 30 rep or something, most people are from 2018+ btw

I disagree, and I'd say I'm a fair bit more well known than you. As someone mentioned above, it is up to the person lookin' for a MM to decide who to pick, no one is holding them at gunpoint. I myself, won't ever use anyone but LonelyTree, a old sorta-friend of mine, because I've talked to dozens of people who've delt with said user, and had little to no issues. All in all, I can agree to some light restrictions such as:

  • 2 months of being on MCM
  • 10+ reputation and
  • 250 posts
  • No outstanding scam reports.
Can’t really understand the point of you’re a fair bit more known than me ? How is that make your opinion more valid ? I used to be a big og seller way back then that’s why and I don’t even know who you are.

2 months? no.
10 reputation? no.
250 posts? maybe.
no outstanding scam reports? yes.

make that a year, 40+ reputation, and let staff consider 250 posts, it's a little too easy to post farm

Since the time this suggestion thread was made we have made it so that to post threads in the middleman forum you must meet the same requirements as the private ogs forum.

I'll move this to accepted, thanks for the suggestion
