Scam Report Submission Fee

To open a scam report, a small fee will be paid to MCM.

This will incentivize users to apply and be assigned to Scam resolvers with a mature, professional, and level headed attitude.

The scam resolvers we have right now, are getting by through volunteer hours of their day and school comes first. Give people who have no lives and spend their hours here wanting to make a change on the community a financial incentive to be a Scam Resolver as a job. Its not volunteer, its paid and you get paid per scam report you take. (though they are paid for being staff, it is NOT ENOUGH to get through the numerous reports in a timely manner.)

This will incentivize quickening the resolution process and getting comments approved faster.

$5 is the suggested fee.

I think you can make it as a extra charge service? Still it is not a good idea but it will at least make it possible for case solvers to spend more time.

The scam report section should always be free. As there are some people who reports scammers just to make sure other people know and stop getting scammed by them. I mean they don't worry about getting their money refunded or anything.

So if someone wants their case to be resolved quicker. They can pay an extra fee. This can include some terms like these:
1.The scammers should reply 100% within 24 hours or faster.
2.The scammers should solve the case by refunding or replacing or completing the task within 24-48 hours.

Those cases should be given a higher priority. This is just my opinion and how I see scam report section.

How would you even enforce this? How can you make a scammer reply faster? How can you make them refund etc? Do you even think before writing stuff?

Step 1) Wait till someone goes on vacation
Step 2) Open a fake scam report on them and pay the extra fee
Step 3) Fake ban since they'd be on vacation and wouldn't be able to reply within 24 hours

Yes I can see but those are dark side, not everyone would dare to do that. If the case opener is found guilty he should also be punished. So that way the environment can be safer as well Scam Resolver can get enough time to spend on site.[DOUBLEPOST=1551406086][/DOUBLEPOST]

Only people who files a scam report against a reputable member knows they will have to response faster because they have a good rep on the forum. So for that kind of cases it can be a good solution.

Or why not make 2 separate scam reports sections? One for free which volunteers can work and other one for paid service where High Rep case solver can work with different terms. Because I know the scam resolver are also human and they can't spend their whole day/night solving other people scam reports for free.

So if you scammed me $15 i should pay $25 or $100 like some idiots suggested to open a scam report on a MC website to get the guy account banned and not even IP banned? Yeah, I do actually, Get more moderators and help victims of scams by actually BANNING the user instead of some crap account ban. "Well thought out?" What, Suggesting we should pay money after being scammed to have the guy banned from a MC site that probably has 50 other accounts to use? Good one, Mate you should be elected for MCM chairman or president with these outstanding plans to protect the users on this site, I mean that with all my heart.

It is because no one wants to volunteer or work for free. So here are some solution I think would be very helpful. It would allow cases to get solved quicker and also will allow the forum to get more scam solvers.

Two Scam Sections:
1.Free Scam Reports (Includes cases that are around $0.01 up to $10 or more) - New scam resolver working as volunteer
2.Paid Scam Reports (Includes cases that are around $50-$1000 or more) - High rep scam resolver working for money

1.Getting more people for scam solving (They must be fully verified, the site admin or mods can do that by asking their documents or anything that can proof they are real).
2.New scam solvers should work in 1st section where people can post scam reports for free that are small cases that include money from $0.01-$10 or closer.
3.New scam solvers should reach a high rep in order to apply for paid services which is an extra charge they scam reporter can pay to make sure their case gets solved by high rep case solver or trusted person and it can be done quickly.
4.High rep case solver can work in 2nd scam report section where filing report can cost money. It can be big projects that can be more than $50-$1000+. This will now only include tasks that might be incomplete or not as described. And this section the reports must be solved within 24-48 hours.

While there are parts where I can see flaws with this system being that MCM has a stigma of staff who don't like new systems (reputation took forever to finally be implemented for example), I agree with the direction of the idea and where you're heading with it.

Tbh it might be best to make a new thread for attention/feedback to it so its not buried underneath the people who may turn toxic on you next after they're done with me lol.

Also, props to you for actually reading my idea and proposing a more refined one.
