Just an idea but could we have it so when a scam report is opened once a scam resolver is assigned the reported "scammer" has their posting privileges removed so they can only post in the scam report section until the issue is either resolved or the member banned.

You know Produce - This ain't bad at all, I've seen scammers like Rise posting everywhere, but yet, doesn't seem to respond to their scam reports, so yeah, this is a good idea, hoping it would be implemented

A lot of people don't check for open scam reports when dealing. So I know this would stop the issue all together. If they can't post while its being resolved then there's no adittional scams. If your not scamming then solving the report quickly shouldn't be an issue.

it was a hyperbole. if i didn't like you i could easily make up a fake report(and not tell you... if you didn't come to that conclusion yourself).
or i could actually get scammed by an impersonator, which still happens pretty often(on all forums).

Impersonators will always be unfortunate. But can be resolved swiftly. What is 1 day away from kcm to restore your reputation. And malicious fake scam reports would be punished.

Something like a tag or icon that displays that the user has an open scam report would be a lot better. As Nine has stated before, some kid who dislikes you can open up a fake scam report to get your posting privileges temporarily revoked. It doesn't matter that you punish the user from malicious reports, they are probably on an alt anyways.

I'm pissed off at you because of XYZ, so I'm going to make an alt and open up a scam report against you to screw you over for the next few days on MCM. If I get banned? Who cares, it's just an alt.

so you're thinking that it would take one day to come to the conclusion it was an imposter. looking at the open reports, it seems like it takes more than a day just to get M6 involved in at least 2 posts. so let me break this down.

I open scam report.
24> hours later, you're banned from everywhere but scam reports.
You come say 12 hours after your ban, claim it was an imposter.
M6 has to cycle through all the other reports that he deals with.
M6 has to APPROVE your comment, and ask for mine.
I can be reluctant and decide not to post for another 48 hours.
I can then post some random BS on how I thought it was you.
We have to wait for M6 to cycle through reports again.
He has to approve my comment and ask for yours.
