So I am a minecraft account buying virgin. I had no clue what the possibility's were going into this transaction. I saw this account being advertised on velt named "RD." The message was "Selling 2 letter acc with 2016 minecon cape."
So I was just thinking "hmm might not be a smart guy and know what this acc could go for. So i message him saying "C/O?"
He responds with "110, got discord?"
So we agreed on $125
So we start talking in discord and he shows me proof of that offer and that it was from a while back. And so after talking to a few people about it they were like go for it.. basically
So I ask him for some proof of previous trades with people and he links me to this twitter page: https://twitter.com/Glockerxd. So i get him to pm me on there saying his discord ID/numbers. He got them right on the twitter.
So it was the guy that my friend had done a transaction with before and got an OG Fortnite account.
BTW I RECORDED THE WHOLE ORDEAL. IDK IF I CAN GET A REFUND CAUSE OF THAT WHEN I SENT THE MONEY THROUGH F&F
Welp I send him the money to his email cause my friend said he was trustworthy.
He responds by saying i refunded it cause that paypal I linked isn't verified.
So I thought ok so he rlly is trust worthy. -Here i fucked up and should have ran.
So instead of being smart and getting out of the obvi scam, I sent money to the next email he linked me to send it to. Thinking if my friend did a good transaction with him I will too.
WHELP NOPE NONE OF IT WENT GOOD
He scammed me for $125 dollars. Blocked me on discord. Blocked me on twitter. And left while in game on velt.
So basically my life is screwed over. Literally will think about this and be upset over it for the next year.
