Scammers Can Redeem Themselves?

Hello there all,

You may all have your point of view on this suggestion, I hope I manage to persuade you.

So basically my idea was simple, once your get banned there should be the reason you're banned in addition to there being a gui.

The contents of the gui should be double the amount they exit scammed, or the value for the product. For minecraft accounts etc, we simply have Doge who can appraise them well and the idea flows etc.

I believe the scammer should pay double and further on the gui, it has a locked email address of the person who got scammed so they can't bypass this system.

In addition the way they will be unbanned is simple. When you pay for a resource and the payment is sent it unlocks a download, well if they were to do similar but to perform a command suggest as un banning the user it could work.

I have also decided to look from different point of views, and I understand that people can charge back and that is a significant factor.

I also agree with the statement, 'Once a scammer always a scammer.' However this option should only be valid for deals below or $10, and for those who have committed like multiple accounts in the past I believe staff should charge a reasonable fee that goes to Mick for them to be unbanned.

I also think that they should submit the reason for there ban and someone such as an active chat mod etc, should be give the rights to view through the reasons as to why they're appealing etc and only they have the opportunity to accept the payment in addition to the request.

Perhaps of the user who has paid recieves some kind of tag like, 'Former Scammer' so others are aware l. Then the responsibility of being scammed is all in your hands.​

Just like several other people, I do agree with the once a scammer always a scammer train of thought.

Ivain has already pointed out that people will just do this for revenge and scam again, I just simply don't see this being something that we want on the forum.

Yeah that general note is 100% factual, but maybe if we more so only apply the procedure for those who have multi-accounted in the past etc. Like people who broke the rules in the past, then if you charge them its a fine to be unbanned. Or if those who reaction boosted get there stats wiped in addition to paying.

If someone has managed to be banned by receiving too many warnings then they definitely don't deserve to be in our community. We are a marketplace, not a chatroom. If you can't manage to follow our pretty simple and self-explanatory rules why should you be trusted to deal with real currency and services? I just don't see any way of this system working and if it did I'm not sure if we'd want it to. The extra revenue it would generate the site definitely wouldn't be worth diminishing the userbase's quality like that.

People who boost their reactions just get those reactions removed and a warning, not a permanent ban by the way.

Like the idea, But for sure you would need to have it so they have something like the Suspended or Banned tag under their username, Showing that they have previously scammed someone and paid to be unbanned.

100% agree with you, its so people won't be able to complain they got scammed again and they take responsibility.

What would be the point? After scamming their chances to have a deal would be 0. They are no longer trusted. They did it once, who's to say they won't do it again? The only reason they'd pay is probably because they couldn't pay on time and were away on vacation or something of the sort.

Yeah but to be honest, people like being here to speak to one another despite getting inspiration from other peoples server etc, and I did mention in my thread I support the argument 'Once a scammer always a scammer' but im pushing more to the aspect of people who have created multiple accounts in the past of which they could appeal using this system. I have rejected the fact of scammers, I fully support the point you're trying to hint.
