So I'm sure everyone is awear of President Trumps nomination for Secretary of Education and the democrats have been fighting for the last 48 hours with speeches on why we cannot make her secretary of education.

Betsy DeVos was presidents trump nomination. She wanted to bring guns into Public schools because we had a 'Grizzly Bear' problem going on in America.

She also failed to talk about the most basic aspects to help run our education. And she failed to bring in her paper work on time when she will be the secretary of education.

This is a huge deal. This women has absolutely no idea what she's doing. And she wants to bring guns into public school. A typical republican loves there guns so it's no doubt trump brought her in.

Today was the big day the senate discussed and voted for Betsy DeVos.

Since Mike Pence is Vice President. He is the president of the senate meaning he's the one that's in charge. The democrats have been fighting for another republican to vote no because all we needed was 1 more to keep her out of confirmation.

This afternoon the votes were placed, 50 for yes, 50 for no. It's never been like this in decades. And the only way to break up a tie breaker is from Vice President Mike Pence needs to cast his vote.

Of course, he voted yes. Making Betsy DeVos our new secretary of education.

I have a lot going through my mind right now on how stupid Mike Pence and the republicans that voted for her can be. I understand that everyone has a lot of opinions on certain things so it's not right to put someone down on something they believen in.

But this was the most common sense decision anyone with a brain can do, what really annoys me about the republicans is they'll vote for there party's nomination over anything they say and want, it's extremely ridiculous that we'll have more school shootings over an idiot secretary who has absolutely no clue what she's doing just like Preisdent trump starting issues with allies and immigrants etc.

If this is what America represents, then it sure is not my country because hate won this election and ignorance and fear.

A president who does more then 10 executive orders in a week and fires people who disagrees with him is not a president. That is a dictator. We're stepping right into Hitler's shoes. And mark my words on that one. Fear and ignorance is what started the holocaust and it's happening again, making us believe immigration is a huge deal so we have to ban Muslims, and build a wall, etc

Here are my thoughts:

Hitler was elected because Weimar Germany was failing, and Germany was in a state of depression. Hitler appealed to them so they voted for him.

Hitler's actual election was all about his widespread appeal and financial support.

Building a wall to prevent illegal immigration, not to alienate the US. It is not a constitutional violation. Muslims have not been detained or discriminated against by the federal government. Also, American people protest over anything. Feminists protested the first day Trump was in office for absolutely no reason at all. Trump responded by doing something that wasn't expected to happen so soon: the defunding of international NGOs. People have protested for Russian helicopters to become a gender. You can't just listen to protests all the time. People don't really know what they want at all. The media is also very biased against Trump, they were when they thought HRC was going to win and by that point they pissed Trump off to the point where they can't just apologise and go back to normal media coverage. There's a war between the Trump administration and the media, and the media simply report BS constantly to fight the war in their way. People read this BS and protest. The point? Protests are a load of shit half of the time, in this time. 100 years ago people had real causes to protest about. Now people protest about all the wrong things, like rights to identify as a butterfly.

I'd argue the judge had no right to block that executive order, it is not a hate crime and it does not violate the constitution. It is not a race thing, it is a temporary restriction to give time to restructure policy, and it's well needed. The President reserves the right to criticise another branch of government, but I do agree Trump can go on tantrums, that's not the point here.

There was no executive order against Muslims at all, I keep saying this. I've explained that order already. The Dakota and Keystone pipeline executive orders were aimed to create pipelines to transfer resources across NA and to create jobs in the process, delivering on a campaign promise. I personally am not a big fan of his approach towards energy, but again, that's not the topic here.

Well, the policy was repeal and replace. The PPACA is not a healthcare system, it is a set of regulations imposed mainly on insurance companies to make insurance more affordable for people, specifically people with pre-existing medical conditions. The disaster in this case is that companies now can't reject someone for having cancer or a very expensive illness, and since they will have to pay out more to these people they have to charge more to normal people to maintain the same level of profit. Therefore, insurance costs overall become unsustainable. That's why the PPACA is a disaster. But, props for Obama for trying. It was a nice concept in theory, but that's never how it works out. I doubt the Republicans can figure something better out, the same issue will happen regardless of how they word it.

I can't comment on statistics on immigration in the US. It's clear how much of a disaster immigration within the EU has been, especially the refugee program. I think Trump is just taking preventative measures to prevent these disasters happening within America. I can guarantee that with Trump's "plan" to defeat ISIS, the US will become a major target of terrorist attacks. What else do you expect when you want to "bomb the shit out of them" and campaign very strongly to eliminate ISIS with nothing left. His statements were harsh enough for him to be considered a violation to human rights, do you not think ISIS will retaliate before anything happens? The US, by logic, would be at risk of terrorism and therefore immigration and USRAP policies should be reviewed.

As for immigration from the Southern border, he argues that it brings in a lot of crime and drugs. I don't have exact statistics here so I won't agree or disagree with that statement, but I can tell you that I'm not aware of any fact checkers disputing that claim, and they often dispute claims that are factual. I don't doubt that Mexico brings in a lot of crime.

I must admit, he has had some strange nominations like Rick Perry as well, secretary for a department he wanted to scrap. I believe these come from the GOP, not from Trump himself. Even people like Trump have to please other people, the GOP is one of these parties of people that you must keep happy.
