Self hosted server question

Hi, so I am wanting to get my own server/computer for hosting my own game servers to play with friends over Skype etc. so I put together a computer on PcPartPicker and am wondering if this would work for what I want:

And I will be using Ubuntu with a desktop environment

Also if its not what parts should I change

I would, if you can budget for it, suggest changing to an Intel processor, usually intel processors are more suited to game servers

I recommend you to get a case with 2 fans or something cooler because of the GPU. Also SSD are better and faster. SSDs will help you a LOT!

I would but the upgrade to that isn't the cheapest thing (the ssd's) to the case ya I can do that i think

Not completely necessary if this OP is just going to use it for small scale server. HDD is fine, SSD is just bonus sand quite costly.

Will if I can afford it I think I would go with a cooler case

I have it set like that so I have the ability to upgrade to 64

Would make more sense to use more than 1-2 sticks in a 4x motherboard (also should be a bit cheaper too), but either way whatever works.
