I'll buy it for $5, since BTDMC hasn't released yet, which to me, makes this domain just as worthless as any other random 5 letter domain.

Not only does this make the players think less of us, but you also may receive hate from the players, just like how the Mineplex factions server was not liked. Is that fair to the person you sell this to or us? No.

5. This is called cybersquatting, which can be highly illegal and lead to being sued for thousands of dollars. Not only this but you'd have to go to federal court. Do you think this is fair? No. The government doesn't think so.

If you are thinking about buying this domain I'd highly suggest against it, not because I want it but because buying it won't get you any dedicated players. The few players that do join will likely dislike your server because they will released that they have been cheated and taken advantage of.

I will be willing to pay $15 for this domain, the amount that this domain cost. If someone on this forum is as low as you and they want to buy this domain, hopefully this comment will stop that. Add 'teamaminoque' on skype if you're interested.

Point 5, unless you have copyrighted/trademarked the name, its domains and logo then sadly you can't do anything. Technically he could register BTDMC.com and take everything behind that domain and take profits made behind it also...

Indeed this is not technically cybersquatting, but this is essentially the very reason why the law exists. Thankyou for pointing it out though!


Also to everyone else who I didn't quote, thankyou for agreeing with me and for posting your opinion.

I personally always buy any domain I'm interested in all .com, .net, .org.
I thought this was common sense, if you have what you think is a valuable idea, you need to protect it. Mick failed to do so, and now this is what happens.

Yes Mick and Longze are making a server that would require that name, but that's not kolbykskk's problem.

Welcome to the real world ladies, where money drives people's actions, not emotions.

Not to mention Mick raised over $3,000 for his server, maybe next time he can spare an extra $10 early on to get the right domains before other people.

The fact he bought that domain when he KNOWS they're making this server doesn't make it right.
