Hi all,

Firstly, if this is the wrong category, I apologise. Let me know which one I should post this in.

I'm looking to sell my Minecraft server hosting company. Let's just dive straight in, and get to the facts. The business is ran on a "lifetime servers" model currently, which is profitable. The reason this works is because most customers purchase a server, and do not end up using it beyond the 3 - 4 month point, leaving the company in the green. We also offer a free 2GB server to draw customers in.

The business has a Discord server with over 30,000 members, of which 17,000 are registered on our client area (the client area was reset last August). So, let's talk numbers:

Revenue each month is around £1100, some months a lot higher, and some months a little lower. The best month we've had was over £2000. The worst being about £450 (which was early last year). As it currently stands, the business does make this money consistently.

Total revenue on record is (via Tebex) is £13,412.67. However, I can assure you the actual figure is around double this, but there's no way to prove it as the Shopify account we were trading on before was terminated, as I didn't know they didn't allow hosting services.

Costs? As it currently stands, costs are very low, just over £120/mo, which on most months leaves £1000+ profit. There are also 3 volunteers who are trained on all of our systems, and also assist with support tickets. They are given a free server package in return for their work.

This business has operated since 2022, with a very similar consistent revenue from about month 4 onwards. We only have recorded sales data from Dec 2023 - now, as we've changed payment providers a fair bit. The payment provider is currently Tebex, as they provide over 100 different payment options for buyers.

Why am I selling it? Due to my current commitments with University, and my job, I don't really have the time to manage it properly, and I'd hate to see this business go to waste.
