Shoutbox Bug Reports

Hello,

As the current shoutbox has some styling issues and whatnot, I decided to create a thread to report all these.

If you're having a styling issue or your personally think something looks ugly, report it here and say what theme you're using. Screenshots make things easier.

You're also free to report any other performance related issues. I'm aware that the SB makes certain devices crash but afaik it's mostly mobile devices from Apple. So I'd like as much details as I can get about that.

Keep this thread on topic. Any posts like "pls change to old sb" will be removed. (Edit: It's not funny, I'll start issuing warnings lol)

Coming from the user who complained the most when they didn't get selected to be one, I find this ironic. Last time I checked the archive, half your messages were complaining about it and you kept saying "but doge is never in the shoutbox" despite the fact that I already told you I watch the shoutbox and chat when needed. Not to mention activity is only one of many qualities that are desired when picking staff. You must also have the proper attitude and maturity. Complaining about it certainly won't raise your chances.

Furthermore, nobody has a valid argument as to why they should be removed. All they say is "too many!" and "we don't want them!" when all we do is enforce rules that already existed but everyone got away with breaking because we had nobody to enforce them. Now that people have to follow the rules, they get upset.

i think the complete opposite as you do. coco seems to have no interest in being a chat mod and even voted against being one, and leaked shit from the staff chat, and justis is one of those power-mongery people who shouldn't ever actually be given any power.

lol it had no problem with the old shoutbox and i think my phone can handle a goddamn website

it lags even on my pc when the shoutbox is active. this morning when there was all the mick drama it was taking like 5 second intervals between messages appearing and a bunch were showing up at once on my phone

You need a newer phone and computer to don't have lag or it's your internet... On my pc it works fine(no game just normal Intel I5 And Intel graphics 400) And my phone(IPhone 5) to.

lol i'm positive my pc is better than yours and my phone is just fine.

the shoutbox lags for everyone you just don't know what i'm talking about. when there is a lot of activity on the shoutbox it stops sending the messages 1 at a time and starts sending them in bulk every like 5 seconds. the interval seems to be really bad on my phone and it is very noticeable and disruptive. on my pc it is not as bad but i do notice it and it's very annoying.
