Hi, I've been working on a new portfolio and this is what I have so far:

I'd really appreciate some feedback on things I need to change. I obviously know it's not optimized for mobile, I'm doing that later.

The flashing you get when you first open the website is a little too much.
Maybe make it so that it fades through the colors slowly so it really is clean but cool.
Other than that, I like the portfolio.

Yea, I completely understand that haha. Perhaps a bit of an epilepsy trigger. I'll increase the transition times . Thanks.

I agree with what Kram said above. Maybe make it fade from the left as a gradient or something. Looks pretty awesome though!

Agree with Kram, the loading screen isn't on my good side. On the mobile version, the text doesn't look too good either. I also feel like it's too cramped out. Other than that, goood job.

Yea, as I said, I've not bothered with optimizing it for mobile yet.

It isn't a website builder...It's free webhosting because I'm not buying hosting until I'm finished.

Is there any way to prove you coded it and didn't use the website builder function?

I legitimately have all the source and scripts that I made myself. and also you should realize that the functionality and design of the website isn't possible with the inline website builder.[DOUBLEPOST=1513382637][/DOUBLEPOST]

+ It's a directory I uploaded onto that server (It's my test server). If I used their tool, it would just place the files within the default htdocs folder.

Yea, I just switched over from PHPStorm. I just adore the customization of brackets and the nice style. PHPStorm had it's code completion benefits, but the formatting wasn't as nice .

I haven't used their system so I was unaware of their inline builder with functionality. Thank you for providing proof, that is all that was needed. You don't know how many people try and say they can make sites but use a free one and stuff

Yea, I totally understand. I see so many threads with people who literally copy and paste bootstrap snippets then call themselves "premium development".
