Hey guys! I currently bought domain and hosting through namecheap, and I'm trying to figure out how to build a website ontop of that. I have installed Wordpress, but i'm not sure if that is right.

The website I need will need a static front page, an about me page, a ticket page, and a shopping area all in a great beautiful theme. Can someone help me?

Thanks,
KushP1

Wordpress works nicely for me. You can find most of the plugins that you will need for cheap and there are a lot of free themes to start out with if you search around. Wordpress, however, doesn't really have any great forum options so you may consider integrating Xenforo in with it, but that will cost you a bit. As for a custom theme and setup, if you can't figure it out yourself, I'm sure you can find a relatively cheap dev/designer to help you out here.

I don't really need a forum. It's more of a shop site.

You can easily use a page wrapper to wrap a buycraft page into it. I don't have it in front of me but if you go to the menu editor and add a page, I believe at the bottom there is an option to use an external address as the page. You can google "how to add an external link to Wordpress" or something along those lines of that doesn't work.

I see. There are shop plugins, but most legit ecommerce plugins cost money. If you plan to host the shop on your site, you will want to get a ssl very for security. Otherwise maybe you can use sellfly or something similar to sell products. Basically find somewhere to lets you sell stuff and wrap that into your website will probably be the cheapest option, I'm not sure. I was assuming you were doing the minecraft shop. I can help look up stuff later if you don't find anything, I'm out of the house right now though.
