This explains perfectly. However, based on your location is the real factor. Do you notice users with T-Mobile getting good service around you, or only Verizon. The debate should not be Verizon vs. Sprint, but rather vs. T-Mobile.
Personally, when I have to pay for my phone service (mommy & ol daddy still), I will be switching to T-Mobile if it is still around. Verizon has the best performance, but the special features like free streaming and solid performance make T-Mobile just squeak the top spot (which is backed up with the link).
I currently am with Sprint and am going to be switching to Verizon. With Sprint, you will never have bars and when Verizon people are streaming 1080p, Sprint streams at 360p if you're lucky. I've had my troubles with Sprint lately with their "Buy one get one phone deal" when it just adds more money to your bill etc.
I switched from Sprint to Verizon. I wanted Sprint for unlimited data but the hard part was finding a spot where I actually had enough bars or fast enough signal to watch videos or load Snapchat. Stick with Verizon. I live out in the middle of nowhere and have 3 bars of 4G LTE most of the time.
