Lowkey everyone hating on sprint, yet they're cheaper than everyone else (near me at least) and I have full bars 99% of places Kappa

Thank you all for your replies. I have decided to stick with Verizon. Kudos to the replies that helped me form my decision:

I've been with both carrier's multiple times. I'll give my ups and downs about Sprint, and you can compare that to your current Verizon experience.

First off, I live in Chicago, IL. About every network has a signal here, and they're always competing over who has the best network. But to the facts. Sprint has if no doubt the greatest customer service by far. I've had plenty of wonderful experiences with their customer service over and over again. Verizon lacks in that big time. Purchasing a plan and phone from them is a piece of cake, took me only twenty minutes in the store to do everything, compared to Verizon who take hours to set up a single thing, and the customer service lacks in an abundance of areas.

Paying bills with Sprint has been a breeze for me. With Verizon, it was simple enough, so under this matter, there pretty equal. Both automatic, and so on. UI is clean on both, like that matters.

Now down to costs. Sprint is a mile far cheaper, up to 50% more affordable than Verizon depending on your previous plan, phone, etc. Verizon is more expensive, but I can see why. Verizon no doubt has the best coverage, but it arises with a damn hefty price tag. Sprint doesn't have the best coverage, that's for sure, but it's extremely less expensive.

I'll list pro's and con's on a list for my time with Sprint and their network.

Pros:

  • Great Customer Service, best hands down.
  • Easy to pay bills, buy upgrades, etc.
  • Amazing prices, just dirt cheap.
  • Free Mexico + Canadian call and text

Cons:

  • Coverage isn't as nowhere near as great.
  • More phones, more plans, more customizable.
  • Cheaper international costs.
  • Hotspots.

In conclusion, it develops down to a few things. If you live in a populated area and are not traveling 24/7, Sprint is your way to go. If you live in less urban areas or travel frequently, Sprint's coverage and lack of customizability can drag you down. It truly arrives down to what your lifestyle is.

I switched from Sprint to Verizon. I wanted Sprint for unlimited data but the hard part was finding a spot where I actually had enough bars or fast enough signal to watch videos or load Snapchat. Stick with Verizon. I live out in the middle of nowhere and have 3 bars of 4G LTE most of the time.
2 of my irl friends have sprint and they don't like it, When im standing there 5barring while they cant even get past a 2 bar. I dont recommend switching
Go with Verizon, I have never had a problem with them. Sprint has terrible coverage and is overall really slow. Verizon has more towers which means more coverage. 100% Verizon
Sprint Sucks. They really really suck. Their customer service, average. Their coverage (at least in my area) is terrible.

But if they have good coverage in your area I wouldn't hesitate. They're cheap.
