Well i've been quite shocked at how this staff member has been dealing with reputation reports allowing reputation's that say " Vouch, we played fortnite together, very well-mannered individual . " which means we can rep people for playing with them? so we can as well neg rep people for being terrible at playing games? how is this possible as well i never knew you can fucking rep someone for not wanting to deal with you? i mean like wow this is what i got when i reported the rep
"If someone has a negative opinion of you, and you wish to improve your reputation, it is your responsibility to improve their opinion of you and therefore your reputation via communication with the reputation author."
10/10 response best staff member out there ofc BucketOfSloths allowing us to rep others for playing fortnite allowing us to rep others for not wanting to deal with us 10/10

Oh yes not to forget allowing us to rep our own business team since when was that allowed??

Unfortunately, your recent report was rejected: I absolutely love Empire Services. Such a great service team! | https://prnt.sc/kbk1re 10/10 moderator

Feel you. Got a bad rep for "posting in the wrong forums section". Like who tf gave you the authority to tell me what to do?

I reported it, didn't even give a response.

I don't know how this is a suggestion but I would love to see if a staff would reply and own up to this piece of shit mess they've created.

this thread isn't needed. This is suggestions, if you want to flame something, at least provide a suggestion on how to fix it. Saying something is broke without any potential solutions helps no one.
well someone called bucketofsloths told me to post it here why not?

the solution is for the person that promotes, manage the staff team to at least give the new moderators a handbook which shows how reputation reports are to be dealt with with examples on which are valid which are not for the new moderators to understand how does the reputation system work

Reputation is messy, but who cares? If you have 10 negative reps you probably deserve it, if you have 1 or 2 negative reps that won't affect you as much as you think. You guys are more judgemental over your reputation than the way you look irl it sounds like. That's tough. Grow a pair, who cares about rep.
I'm about to get a neg rep for saying this, I can feel it. Kappa

"major problem" Problems can't be fixed without a solution.
If you don't list a solution, don't expect it to be fixed.

Every staff handles rep differently, just like how different staff handle different posts differently (does that sentence even make grammatical sense?)

Quote from a staff member: "It's definitely a game of roulette with which staff member is reviewing it. That's the beauty of human interaction."

Yes, the rep system has gone beyond a joke. When it was first released the community used it for actual transactions - in my opinion that is the way it should be kept. Over time, with influence from staff members, the rep system has gradually turned into a mess where peoples' bullshit """opinions""" are allowed to interfere with the rep system. There are some beyond bullshit users of the rep system - support requests don't get answered and reports only redirect you to support requests. Nice.

Here are some examples of staff having extreme variations across their handling of rep in my personal experience; anonymising the staff members with numbers.

Staff member #1 - well, if you can manage to get ahold of him, he seems to follow the rules when it comes to rep? My support request, created August 13th 2017, was assigned to Staff #1 all the way up until December 12th 2017 with zero response from Staff #1 until Staff #2 the hero took it over.

Staff member #2 - He sticks to the rules for the most part; there are some cases where I disagree on whether or not a rep violates a rule but nonetheless he is unbias.

Staff member #3 - According to this staff member, if a member is banned and left you a rep, then that rep should be removed because they are banned. lol! Although, they do reply to support requests pretty quickly which is OK.

^ picture of a different staff member confirming why a rep left for me was removed

Response from staff member #3: https://i.chear.io/91152da4-5277-4d85-bca8-a1e3eb4714ca.png

Staff member #4 - This staff member literally leaves rep that in my opinion violates rule 9.1 - https://i.chear.io/155af412-722d-458f-b4b7-ee7f8cfd39b2.png . Reallyyyyyyy?

About half of the staff team deletes rep without PMing the user; the other half of the team does. I'm pretty sure Mick has said it is his intention that people are informed when their rep is deleted but this doesn't happen.

These are just some examples of variations between staff. There needs to be some kind of guide for staff to follow when dealing with rep reports or just dealing with rep in general. Either that, or make an existing staff member a rep moderator and remove every other mod's privileges to tamper with rep.
