So,
I saw a post stating that you cant "pay" someone to vouch for you, ok seems fair.
But then someone randomly de-vouches for me because I was being "rude". Now I report it, saying like abviously if you cant get free or paid vouches, you have to have dealt with the person, so de-vouch should be the same, but NOPE! You can Devouch WHENEVER you want, to ANYONE!
WTF kind of rule is that?

A vouch is mostly like an opinion/review - which can be based to change in the future.

usually de-vouches don't matter unless they are from a trusted person and they provide a reason why with proof. So don't worry unless that is the case

im trying to sell my server you see.
And some guys come along and like 50 of em just say "this isnt custom terrain" or some shit, and done. LIKE SERIOUSLY, it never said that, and like the first 2 comments say that, now this other guy comes along and says "this is worth "Blank"" and I get pissed, as I dont want my buyers to see shit like that...
and then I start arguing how I only want questions and bids...
now I ask staff if I can make it so that you can only ask questions or bid, and they say nope, they can say what ever they want... -_-
then this guy comes along and says "devouch user is rude" WTF? then I report it and they say nope, they can devouch whenever.
my mind is confused af!

Probably came out to you in the wrong way.. I know the message cuts in the alert so i had to keep it short but I'll answer more in depth here as you've decided to make such a big deal about it.

Quick education lesson: Vouch and devouch are terms we use when we've worked with a user in order to provide a positive or negative review upon a service or item. I do admit the term has really slacked now with friends of service and item providers dropping them whenever along with a few blurred lines in regarding to how to obtain or when to drop.

Mainly what I was trying to go at in my response was: opinions are always subject to change depending on the interactions between the users and it's true- anyone can vouch OR devouch a user at any given point. That's more where I was heading at as you have stated the user has worked with you before. I didn't mean "anyone" as in "Oh I'm feeling nasty today- lets go drop a few devouches for fun".

As for the thread pruning and removing negative comments, that's only done if it's blatant disrespect and flame. For devouches or negative reviews, it's not something we will hide for transparency of a service. Generally, if a "false" review is posted, the OP should try to rebut it themselves with plenty of evidence which also helps users determine the attitude of the provider.

Hopefully that cleared up a little. Let me know if you think it's unreasonable. :tup:

But im still pretty pissed... All im trying to do is sell my server,
Now 20+ people come one and say random stuff, has to do with the server but nothing helpful.
I ask for them to be removed, but staff says nope, no rule like that...
