First i have to say..excuse me if i'm not able to mention spigot or hackforums, i'm not advertising them i'm only sharing my experience with you

I apologize but i'm "new" here so i don't know much about rules of this site
(don't worry i will learn rules of mc-market)

I was main administrator on hackforums.net longer then 4 years (i learned everything but now i don't hack anything, i quit with that shit many years ago)
But when i see what those sons of bitches doing to innocent people (blackmailing them, asking for money, to pay for their own plugin)
Thats so pathethic, thats why i'm want to help you
I'm able to remove any plugin from any leaking sites
I already removed more then 30 plugins from leaking site
I shutdown 4 different leaking site, but they got back two days after
i can help you to shutdown most of them or to remove any plugin you want but the problem is that every week new site is opened
so everything we do is temporarely, but believe me its better to do something then not doing anything

When i published all private informations about owner of one leaking site i got temp ban on spigot
and they openly said that they doesn't need my help, they basicly told me to not touch leaking sites
then i speak with 8 different owners of leaking sites and all of them told me that they will cooperate and remove any plugin i ask
'OhYeah' guy told me that he is in deal with some important people from spigot that i want mention right here, he send me pictures of proofs and paypal picture, he got TONS by some important spigot users, those same users telling everyone to not deal with leaking sites, just to ignore them, they got their plugins removed because they are funding them i wouldn't be suprised if they got some premium plugins from them

Spigot doesn't allow to talk anything about leaking sites which doesn't make any sense, those leaking sites are most likely getting plugins from spigot but spigot doesn't allow us to talk about it, if you talk about it like me, then you are risking ban
i purchased more then 50+ plugins on spigot, and i spend 2000€ on custom plugins there, i helped more then thousand people and removed 30 premium plugins of other people from certain leaking sites, example Kangarko contacted me if i can help him to remove some of his 8 premium plugins from leaking sites, i successfully removed all 8 of his premium plugins from certain leaking site, i won't mention name because i don't want to advertise leaking sites i'm totally against it, i wanted to create first anti-leaking site that will deal and remove all leaked plugins that users request and i wanted to do it completely for free i even made all those owners to aplogizes, because most of them was rude in start and didn't think i'm serious in start, but very quickly i showed them that i'm very serious, i'm not gonna share here detailed informations how i'm doing it but i can garantuee that i'm 100% successful in my actions and who ever wants to know more can contact me to talk

Spigot staff team doesn't appreciate anything what i done for site and thousand users...i was exactly 8 time punished for arguing with their cocky staff team, recently one donator had terrible behavior, he was constantly rude to everyone in threads, spam + talk bullshit & shared misinformations i contacted him to tell him to be more polite to people, but he was again even more rude, we got in little argue, really little argue i didn't even swear to him, he was the rude one but he reported me and spigot ban me on whole month for that argue in private message, which means that bastard is better then me just because he donated money
i been scammed on spigot for more then 300 € in total, i reported all with proofs (70+ pictures) its total clear that i got scammed but that users are neither punished neither i got back my money, not even apology

The only reason why Spigot is still online is because i'm using it for many years i have tons of friends there and i have 5 plugins, even premium one, i respect my buyers alot thats why i'm always offering 24/7 support

i promised md_5 if i got ban once more for such stupid reason i promise with my life that spigot site will never work again, they think they are protected by cloudflare, thats so stupid, i can bypass cloudflare so easy, it doesn't matter if its premium or free, they can open 100 new sites i will take care they never work again and thats not a threat, thats a fact cause i'm not scared of their cocky behavior, i respect them but i'm not gonna allow them to act like that and threat all users like shit

if they have just little bit more polite staff team i would donate them thousands of dollars, but i doubt that they will change
They doesn't allow speaking anything, no freedom of speech, not even in Private Message

I see that you are openly discussing here about leaks and trying to really do something about it instead of "ignoring it" or even worse paying them which only makes them stronger, i'm very sad that i didn't start using mc-market earlier, i found it after years spend on spigot

If you decide to take down certain plugins or whole site, or all sites from same time, feel free to contact me on PM

A new wiki has been created detailing how content creators can fight these sites themselves.
https://www.mc-market.org/wiki/reporting-copyright-violations/

This wiki contains valuable resources for the community to utilize in taking down their content and as well as these leak sites.
It has also been edited into the main post of this thread.

Kinda Bullshit, I made a suggestion OVER A YEAR AGO. About one form or protection that is undeniably at least able to help. However, that has been in "pending" for god knows how long now. If MCM cared so much about leaks why would they not of put that protection like Spigot into the resources.

EDIT: 2 YEARS AGO IN 2017.
Can't believe you are still in this community.[DOUBLEPOST=1558474624][/DOUBLEPOST]
Fellow community members,

It has come to our attention that standing idly by while leak sites continue their blackmail, extortion and victimization of our members, is no longer something we can afford.

As a community of hard working content creators, we recognize the importance of trust, and the honoring of each others rights to our work, ownership, and distribution. We understand how damaging it can be to each other's businesses, livelihood, and motivation to continue producing and delivering content, when our hours, days, and sometimes months of effort is snatched from our hands at the soonest possible opportunity, and copies sold by crooks looking to make a quick buck.

Leak sites are the worst example of this, and this is how they exist:
- Distributing unlimited copies of other people’s work to generate traffic
- Generating ad revenue from the traffic being directed towards the leaks
- Charging exclusive bulk access to other people’s exceptionally popular work
- Offering bulk access to other people’s work for those that assist in the leaking
- Extorting content creators into paying them not to leak the content on their site

Every time you view their ads, you help them stay up.
Every time you purchase a rank on their sites, you help them stay up.
Every time you leak a copy of a product, and it falls in their hands, you help them stay up.
Every time you pay them not to leak your products, you help them stay up.
Moreover, you encourage them to continue doing the exact same thing to your peers and fellow creators, because it has proven profitable with you.

MC-Market and our community is in the position where we have the influence necessary to make a difference.
We can make running these leak sites less profitable for the thugs behind them.
We can make leaks of unowned content more legally troublesome to maintain.
We can discourage more sites from popping up in chase of easy, unearned profit, and as consequence, we can denormalize the theft and leaking of our community’s products.
Together, we can reduce the number of our fellow peers who are threatened, blackmailed, and extorted for their money and their work.

Prior to today, MC-Market has suspended those found to have leaked content they don’t own, and we have permanently banned those found to be uploading unowned content to leak sites.
However, this is not enough to fight the financial support and sustainability of these sites.
Starting today, we will be expecting more from our community members who have been paying these sites their desired ransom, and thus encourage them to continue their extortion of others.

It’s easy to believe that paying the ransom is a solution to getting control of one's product back, especially when everyone else is doing it, but this is incorrect. It may be taken down today, but to believe that there’s anything preventing them from putting it back up tomorrow, is to fool one’s self.
Thugs act on what’s most profitable to them. They will not hesitate to one-sidedly adjust the terms of their “protection", without your consent, if suitable.

The only control obtained by paying off thugs, is obtained by the thugs themselves. To further fund their activities, to demand more from you later, and to threaten and extort your peers who are trying to work and sell honestly alongside you.

Not every seller can afford to put new shoes on the feet of criminals and keep them happy.
MC-Market has the responsibility to think of every member of our community when deciding on our policies, and it is with that in mind that we will no longer tolerate the support and funding of leak sites, and will be taking direct action against the practice of paying them off.

As such, the following enforcement is now in effect:
- Users found to be funding leak sites by paying them off will have their accounts suspended.
- Users found to be requesting leaks from these leak sites will be suspended.
- Users found to be paying leak sites for exclusive access or perks will be suspended.
- Users who refuse to end their funding/requests will be permanently banned.
- Users found to be a member of any leak site staff team, or otherwise providing aid/services to them will be permanently banned.
Note: Punishments will not be issued for new policy offenses committed prior this announcement.

We also encourage everyone who is able to, fight for your rights. Take legal action wherever necessary, and know that MC-Market will support you in every way that is within our power and authority.
A wiki with information and resources on how to get your content removed and actively fight to take down these leak sites can be found here: https://www.mc-market.org/wiki/reporting-copyright-violations/

Moreover, if you ever need to visit these sites for good and necessary reasons, use ad-block filters to remove the overlays/pop-ups which attempt to force you to disable ad-block and generate ad-sense revenue for them. You can use the inspect-element tool to discover the classes being used to prevent navigation.
These things are merely encouraged and not enforced, however, we nonetheless ask for your assistance in fighting with us for the protection of everyone’s property rights.

Thank you so much for your time.
Let us look forward to a more honest and respectable future together, forged through our combined efforts.
- Your MC-Market staff team
May I please ask politely, what the aim of MC-Market is except on having trust, and the honouring of each other's rights to the communities work, ownership, and distribution.

In my experience, leak sites are a cancer that target every bit of good content on any forum, and there's no way to stop it. I've owned a few forums that were targeted by them, and even made a verification process involving physical ID verification to become "trusted", most users only sold to trusted users, and yet their content still ended up leaked. People on those sites will stop at nothing to get their little bit of clout for leaking new content.

I'm glad to see this, when I used to do private business I would have people leak my files constantly, it's nice to see that the big forums are doing something about it.
