So if a forum has a complete subforum for leaked services, and the rest of it is not for leaked services I can't be there or I'll be banned?
I recommend creating a support request to explain the individual situation, however, if you are a staff member on a site that promotes and supports leaks, then it matters not what other services they also provide, you are supporting leaks, and that will not be tolerated.

Nien I am not a staff member me? Staff on a forum    , I just think it's dumb that if you have any sort of connection financially to a leak forum you will get banned or suspended.
I’m certain many resource authors and content creators are grateful that more people do not share your perspective.
Every penny counts. That goes for your enemies as well. Fund them, support them, and you will be sowing the seeds of your own destruction.
Although, it seems you don’t sell resources or much original non-exclusive content. So it’s understandable you wouldn’t care for the restrictions meant to protect against leaks which hardly effect you.

This belongs in a report, not a thread response.

I am a member of a leak site to monitor if my plugins or someone’s I know gets leaked. I previously paid for the top rank in order to get access to see their premium resources. How can I avoid violating this new rule since I already have an account?
The change in enforcement will not be applied to payments made prior to today. That would be obviously unfair.
Ensuring that no further payments are being made to these leak sites is all that needs to be done on your end.
Thank you for the forthrightness.

Alright ;) Are members allowed to be members of leak sites or is that a ban too? Like if they have an account. Forgive me for all the questions, I don’t have time to read the entire announcement at the moment

There are plenty of good and moral reasons why one might have an account on a leak site. For instance, I have an account in order to compare leaks with resources which have been uploaded and determine if the uploaded product is a fork of a leak, as well as in order to find the source of the leak and ban them from our platform.
When I visit a leak site, I block their ads to avoid generating ad-sense revenue, which would benefit them, however, as explained in the thread, this is merely a recommendation in order to further cut off their funding, and will not be enforced as a requirement.

Good luck, although the revenue of plugin author might fall quite dramatically. But maybe you will be able to change something overtime.

100% agree these changes is going to affect resource sales alot.. Sad

Please explain how punishing leakers negatively affects plugin creator sales more than it positively affects them. That makes very little sense to me.

Since people will stop paying to leaking sites, more plugins will be leaked and hence purchased less.

Might want to mention the fact that you’re allowed to have an account for a good reason in the post. I was a little confused. Thanks for explaining[DOUBLEPOST=1551808060][/DOUBLEPOST]
That made 0 sense. If people stop paying leak sites it will hopefully limit their income to a point where they can’t afford to stay up.
This will be a short-term effect if this idea succeds
