I assume nothing would happen directly by staff members unless you got valid proof of your claims and open a scam report against the user that broke your TOS. This thread talks about what would happen if x happened on x leaking website by some mcm user.

Let me rephrase it maybe I didn't explain it well ( sorry) I meant that if that person broke my tos by selling my plugin for cheap or leaking it for free, what would happen?

It’s impossible to “leak” something you own. It’s only leaking if the content is distributed without the owner’s consent.
If you’re the owner of your plugin, and you distribute it, then it isn’t leaking, because you consented to your own actions.

If you guys have a list of all well known leaking sites, that would definitely help. I certainly know a fair few of them, many of which specialise in leaking premium plugins and other server assets.

I believe that if a platform as big as MCM would publish such a list, it would do more harm than good. Either way, this won't happen because it would still be considered promotion of other "similar" websites, and, most of them are flagged by the word filter anyway.

I'm not meaning to publish the list, obviously that's just plain stupid xD It was more of a question to them if they know a lot of sites they are looking out for.

Hmm... idk maybe LEAK THE VERIFICATION PLUGIN. Plus, that's a really dumb thing to force developers to use.

At no point have we ever insisted that anyone not “go on a website”.
What we are doing is requiring that our members not directly support these illegal and community damaging sites, most notably through payments to them.
