When purchasing a sticky, does it have to be manually confirmed? Or is it automatic?

Might be because people are pressuring staff to be quicker and quicker and when they have to be faster without more people can cause mistakes.
Still doesn't mean they shouldnt work as hard because they're being pressured. It's their job.

As we all saw staff have plenty of free time... since they are making "funny" April 1st jokes, create websites, create new badge, dedicate staff resources to monitor joke website and thread...

To my knowledge Mick is/was the only one dealing with invoices and confirming ads... so I probably shouldn't even mention how much time he was spending on joke website instead of working on MCM and improving user experience. But wait, he is still doing some work on MCM ... checking and replying on 1-2 year old suggestions.
Didn't say that. I just said that mistakes are bound to happen under the pressure plus they're humans too.

They're not robots.. They can be on the site without working 24/7. No human body is built to work all the time.
You kind of missed the point... I believe Mick is the only one doing ad related work (confirming ads) and he is definitely not pushing himself xD

I think Justis is doing them.
No need to tag him, I am sure he has plenty of stuff to do and this is not the information any staff member will give out publicly. Either way that was my honest opinion and personally I believe there is no reason to try to defend Mick (from past experience)...
Have a good day/evening. :)

Sticky threads no longer require manual approval, and for the past month, have been automatically approved upon submission.

The thread has been trashed, and the user suspended. Thank you.

So thanks to this Mick has got some free time and started reading 1-2 year old suggestions finally, well that's great.

On a more serious note may I ask how exactly the quality control is happening now, does every thread will get approved no matter it's content and you will be relying on users to report rule breakers? (we all know how long time such reports can take to get looked at)

I was unaware of the ability to allow it automatically. Thank you Justis for taking care of this matter.
