actually it was really on paint.net. didn't know how to use photoshop then. and yea took me like 1 1/2 hrs

So, what are you basing this on? Are you basing this on yourself? So, "you're not a graphic designer unless you're at my level or a little under?" - there's no set requirement for being a graphic designer. Anything can be called art, like it or not, even if it irritates you, that's how the world works.

Watching what they do on youtube and copying it is called learning, tracing the steps to a full design. You do the same thing three, four, maybe five times, you start changing it up - modifying it, making it look better, maybe even worse, and make your first piece of art,
you get the general idea of what people like, and continue on from there. Copying isn't ALWAYS a bad thing, in terms of code, it is, due to the fact that you're just typing something you don't understand, but copying art doesn't require knowing special syntax, all it requires is common sense and practice to be good at it.

Just because YOU might be "good" at it(very subjective but sure) doesn't mean you get to tell others when to sell or not to sell. They'll learn the hard way that they'll have to mold their art into the opinion of the majority of the users in the site, and go on from there.

Just because you're irritated because so many people are sharing your passion, doesn't mean you should discourage them.


You don't have to make plugins to be a java developer. You might be a professional java developer but not have a single clue how spigot or the api works. You start from step 1, not 100.

To all the kiddies who are getting upset by this thread, understand that the point of this thread is calling out people who are just beginning an area still using videos and trying to sell their work. This is actually quite annoying. You shouldn't be selling your product unless you are at least some what experienced. It's plain and simple.
