Stop reaction farming!

Hello,

I have a new suggestion, one that I actually saw on another forum to reduce reaction farming

What it does is this:


So it adds "Unique Rep" (Change this to "Unique Reactions"). This shows how many reactions any one person has received over all, and how many of those reactions are from different people, over different threads. This way, if a user farms, they will show maybe 500 reactions, but only 100 unique.

In Jeff's simple terms:
Basically, I see your posts on one thread, it's funny to me and I rate both of the posts 'funny' it would count it as one reaction. If I ever rate your post again [in another thread] it would count it as a reaction, but it wouldn't be unique, since I already rated your post before.

What do you think?

I wish they had a on the fence reaction. I should suggest that. Nah, I don't do that. The reason why I say that is because I don't find it that useful. What if you are on "tongue and cheek" rant and you get tons of reactions. People will start looking at reactions to uniques ratio and just as they do reactions use it as a "trustworthiness" calculator. Just my thoughts.

I don't like it. I prefer to see 1 big green number.

Maybe, unique reactions/other info about reactions (how many of each) could be seen by clicking on the green number?
