Stop reaction farming!

Hello,

I have a new suggestion, one that I actually saw on another forum to reduce reaction farming

What it does is this:


So it adds "Unique Rep" (Change this to "Unique Reactions"). This shows how many reactions any one person has received over all, and how many of those reactions are from different people, over different threads. This way, if a user farms, they will show maybe 500 reactions, but only 100 unique.

In Jeff's simple terms:
Basically, I see your posts on one thread, it's funny to me and I rate both of the posts 'funny' it would count it as one reaction. If I ever rate your post again [in another thread] it would count it as a reaction, but it wouldn't be unique, since I already rated your post before.

What do you think?

So, your petition was entirely unnecessary because
1. If someone wants to reaction farm, they will do so. Some petition with 5k signatures wont change anything!
2. I am really tired so I really don't want to do this.
3. Even if this entire website is up in arms and boycotts this website
3a. Bebonsy still probably wouldn't do it
3b. Unless one of these new newspapers which is the new fad tells us that they changed the rules, we wouldn't hear about it because we boycotted the website
3c. this situation would never happen. I am going to edit the OR so I don't look stupid. I look stupider because I can't...
