Very unprofessional. I joined, asked for an application, and the recruiter left mid-interview. When I asked if he was still there, he said "sorry, busy". Then just completely ignored me. Seems very rude to leave an interview during it to go do something else.

While we are bussy with important things you can have a bit of patient.
if we totally ignored you its okay. but we did not state that we weren't going to go further with the interview.
We just did not respond of 6 minutes only

Leaving to go focus on something else in the middle of an interview is not good business practice.

No, not really. It's just bad business practice. If you were at a face to face interview where you are the interviewer and you decided to get up and walk out the door, it would be taken as blatant disrespect towards the potential employee. It shows that you really don't care about your employees and aren't willing to make them your priority for ten minutes.

If it was an emergency, You apologize, Explain and then leave. You do not just leave and ignore him. Do you guys know nothing about business?

I don't see a need in trashing the thread, something important came up.
Litterly everyone who used our service is happy with us. We know enough about business.
We won't leave in a conversation without a good reason. And ofcourse not leaving in a direct conversation.
6 minutes not replying and leave us a neg rep etc is bit overreacted, we will apologize if something comes up the next time but further no comment.

Giving negative feedback isn't trashing. You did not tell me if something important came up, you just stopped talking for several minutes and then when I asked if you were still there you just said "sorry, busy". Also, I believe the "important" thing that came up was a build request, which doesn't really qualify as important enough to abandon an interview.

We were talking about posting negative messages under the thread.
No, the important thing was not a "build request", something not related to our company.
Again, we apoligize for leaving the interview. We should have done it diffrent

This is a violation of MCM rules. A Negative reputation cannot be given in this instance. You have 24 hours for it to be removed or I'll have to report this for abuse. You cannot rep someone for not dealing with you.

I don't see where in the rules it states that a user cannot negatively rep a person/business for failure of basic business standards.

REPUTATION SYSTEM RULES
The following rules apply to the use of the reputation system on MC-Market
9.1 Do not give reputation which is not relevant and informative. Example: “User is dumb” or “Vouch. Cool guy”.
9.2 Do not accuse members of scamming without linking a scam report on that member which you have started.
9.3 Do not hint, tip, or request a specific reputation rating on yourself or another member.
9.4 Do not use reputation as a currency, reward, or condition.
9.5 Do not abuse the reputation report system. This means you shall not attempt to report reputation unless it violates the above rules. Reputation is otherwise handled by the community, and is there to gauge the community’s opinion of you. If someone has a negative opinion of you, and you wish to improve your reputation, it is your responsibility to improve their opinion of you and therefore your reputation via communication with the reputation author.


This negative reputation does not violate any of the above stated rules. This user is not making irrelevant comments, accusing of scamming, requesting a specific type of reputation, using it as a currency, reward or condition, and nor are they abusing the report system, of which you will be as you would be reporting someone of whom Isn't breaking the rules.
