I would like to hear back from the community of what they would like to see on a web-host, for web-hosting "companies" to have some feedback on.

Why? There's nothing wrong with OVH. They have a extremely solid VAC system and a very good anycast network. The only thing I can think of is the average support and the rare network downtime in the past. If you look at their VAC system, network and pricing. Those 2 cons are fairly non-existent.
That's what I'm talking about.A lot of known hosts offer offshore, so that part shouldn't be a problem. But DMCA ignored isn't a necessity.
They are going for OVH because the servers are good for what you pay. I don't mind anyone using OVH as long as they can come up with something innovative like a custom control panel.Although I agree that OVH is good, I fully dislike hosting "companies" that ONLY resell OVH without adding any value. If these "companies" are straight up reselling OVH why don't I just cut out the middle man?
I see dozens of kiddie hosts only reselling servers with Multicraft. There is nothing that drives the capitalism except prices.
Yep, I don't have anything against resellers using OVH. OVH is fantastic. I hate it when hosts only resell services and add no value to what they give to you. Essentially they act as a middleman that does nothing. They are going for OVH because the servers are good for what you pay. I don't mind anyone using OVH as long as they can come up with something innovative like a custom control panel.
I have a pretty solid background in technical aspects of running large websites so I'll give some input.

The webhosting industry exists for almost 2 decades. If you think members on this forum will suggest you something that has barely been done or something that's unique, you're wrong. Most companies that come up with unique things have a whole marketing team brainstorming for weeks.
There's not much uniqueness you can have with webhosting. You're most likely running cPanel and don't have a full team of developers. So even if you had something unique in mind, getting it developed would be fairly unrealistic unless you have a crazy budget.
The hosting industry (especially webhosting) is extremely oversaturated and I doubt it's doable to come up with something innovative.
I also don't think it's worth the time. You have to offer extremely low prices to be able to even compete. Low prices with little customers give little revenue.
Another problem is that the market is extremely easy to get into. It doesn't take much effort to buy a reseller package from a hosting company, install whmcs(sometimes even included in the reseller package) and setup some packages. And tada, you can sell webhosting.
Want something unique for webhosting? Get a commercial control panel made that use nginx and mariadb instead of slow and outdated apache.
