Hey MCM,

So there's this girl in my school right, we've been together before but it was a really awkward relationship because none of us had ever really had anyone before and we didn't have a clue what to say to each other. We are both kinda confident by ourselves or with our friends, but when it came to each other, we were just so weird and awkward man.

In the end we broke up (about 10 months ago) and we both like each other again. Now I'm 15 and so is she and obviously that means things have kinda changed. I'm basically asking for girl advice. What do I say to girls, what do they enjoy talking about, and how do I keep a conversation going? All help is appreciated lol, I know I'm a noob at life and whatever but I need to take the next step here and build up my confidence.

Ask questions and give attention. That’s all a human needs to feel “listened to”. Be tactile and show interest. Show that interest. If she doesn’t answer back to it that’s a nono. Give attention. Tell jokes. Share stories (not super long and boring ones, though). Most girls will talk about a lot of the same stuff guys do, so unless you start a conversation about aftershave or something, you're fine.

Bro this shit is hard for me to, don't worry about it. You just have to be your self and act like it is no big deal. You need to initiate the less awkward conversations and stay strong throughout them. It's hard, don't get me wrong, but it'll pay off.

Surprise her with fun things to do movies etc. Don’t be shy, always listen to her even if it’s useless like I bought shoes and I bought the wrong pair. Just be your self since she clearly likes that. Be nice but try not to act “goody 2 shoes” 100% of the time, they like some personality. That was a mistake I made and the other girl because interested in another guy.
Honestly, from experience, it really doesn’t matter what you talk about to a girl, there’s nothing worse than an awkward silence because maybe the next time you guys meet, there could be more until eventually she isn’t interested. Sometimes when I’m talking to friends on the bus on school trips and things like that, we just laugh at our inside jokes or even say funny things about a teacher or something, because once you start having general friendly conversations, it will fill the void of awkwardness and she will start talking about her day and you can start becoming more comfortable together

Identify what common activities you 2 enjoy doing. Figure out if its affordable. Suggest to her (casually, don't pressure or force it) to do said activity and let the conversation from there flow.

E.g. if you 2 are into arts and crafts for whatever fucking reason, as you 2 are doing the cutting, coloring, gluing, etc. Judge each other's creations and the conversation should flow naturally.
