Want to hear more opinions on modern HCF.

As someone who has witnessed the creation of almost each gamemode on servers, I do miss the nostalgic servers but thats human nature. Most of your points about P2W and updated functionality to break the nostalgic gamemodes can be applied to other servers and modes too.

I saw servers like Shotbow, Kohi and Mineplex rise to fame and go through so much drama with DDossing and Hacking (both information accessing and cheating), it was more rare back then due to the amount of people who knew how to do it, now it is a simple google and a $5.99 subscription...

I just think that the monetary aspect for owning a server is now a motive to make a server, I have seen so many new servers create themselves on the promise that it is "for the players" when in reality its because they want to make a quick $.

I recently went onto Velt with a bunch of friends who felt this "nostalgic" feeling, we loved HCF as a group back in the day, this trip wasn't what we expected but as you have said things change and people need to get that into their heads, minecraft isn't dead but people who care about their players (actually) is... almost.

To be honest, I think that minecraft has gotten to the stage that people view it as a money grab more than a game which they can play with friends and the community, Velt and most other HCF servers have changed the original image of HCF and made it more like P2WF, the more money you can spend on a season or a map the better off you are going to be in the eyes of the players on that server.

Most people have this mentality that to fix the problem, you have to go back to the roots of the gamemode, releasing a nostalgic HCf server will not fix anything, I think that when players and if players join that server, they will not be used to the fact you have to play to win and that you cannot just falsify and pay your way up to the "top" of the server.

Personally I don't play minecraft online anymore, it has become the thing that almost all servers say they are not.

I grouped them and Kohi together.
Also, Arcane was so OP it was almost as bad as FMC.

I’ve always preferred soup pvp over HCF and you’re 100% right about Kohi being overrated. It was a good server don’t get me wrong but it hadn’t it’s issues.

This happens when the god damn game mode turns into OPHCF and every jag server owner can’t stop putting their greedy paws into the crate mystery. I mean damn, look at FMC.... you can get 200 lives for a few dollars.. Joke
