Telling Someone to Commit suicide to have a higher punish

Hello so recently there were some problems about people telling others to "kys" and they only recieved a verbal warning but i think it should be considered a higher offense than disrespect/hate/etc. As Telling someone to commit suicide is a serious issue and the person should Have a higher punishment due to saying that.
i personally dont care if a random person online told me to kys but there are people in the community who might really do it or get affected by it!

Just because it's said on the internet a lot does not mean we should accept it as a normality here. This is a sheltered forum where you can decide the rules, and disallowing and depreciating the use of the term "kill yourself" would remove toxicity and the chance of someone actually following through with it. Not everyone is as 'hard' as you on the internet, some people just want to have a good time and make business or just socialise while being friendly.

- Facebook
- Twitter
- Toxic Minecraft forums like this one.

Oh yeah, and everywhere else with any form of social aspects through a network connection.

Agreed it's not nice, but no need to be so sensitive in my opinion, there are a lot worse things that could be said to you and banning one thing can just lead to full scale censorship.

i wouldn't care if someone told me kys obviously lmao not even in irl even if it was my dad or mom, but there are people online who are sensitive enough and might have issues irl or mental issues that would lead them to suicide or something + its a minecraft forum and filled with 14-17 year old members who are not fully aware about what they are doing. you cant be like "man up boys who gives a shit" lol, not saying it should be a instant ban maybe 5 warning points or something

I think the punishment for telling to go and kill themselfs should be a one day suspension. It would tell people a simple message: Don't tell people to kill themselfs. They might do it.

It would make people think more about how real suicides are in the community. I have seem two of my friends kill themselfs and I could no do anything to prevent it. I am hoping that something happens to those to tell others to go and kill themselfs.

Unfortunately it is the verbal attacker's choice to make themselves look toxic and possibly be viewed too toxic to deal with hurting their reputation or what not.
