Hello so recently there were some problems about people telling others to "kys" and they only recieved a verbal warning but i think it should be considered a higher offense than disrespect/hate/etc. As Telling someone to commit suicide is a serious issue and the person should Have a higher punishment due to saying that.
i personally dont care if a random person online told me to kys but there are people in the community who might really do it or get affected by it!
Thanks People of Mcm
NOTE:
IT SHOULD BE A 5 POINT WARNING iam not saying a 1 day suspension lol

It's really funny to see that those who disagree this idea are toxic themselves.
No one likes to hear those words. Then why should we hear them?
If you don't like something, will you force yourself into doing it?
If we would have a higher punishment for that, it could dramatically decrease the times we would hear those words.
"The internet is full of toxic kids". You know why? Because you let them be toxic, and you are not doing anything to prevent it.
Poor warning points won't do shit. Of course, we cannot fully remove those words from this site, but we can decrease the amount of them. People will think twice before posting a toxic message on this forum.
This is a business forum. Toxic people should be kicked away from here.

No. Because if someone really gets offended by a random ass noob on the internet saying "kill urself" or "kys" then they shouldn't have a PC or be on one of the most cancerous game communities of all time. Or be on the internet for that matter.

Grow a bigger skin you fuckin' 2 year olds. "MOMMY, A STRANGER TOLD ME "KYS" PLS SPANK HIM"

Whatever happened to sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me?

When does it stop?

where is the line?

Next a harsher punishment for things people disagree with?

"he called me a doodoohead ban him pls"

"he said nigga ban pls"

"he stole my kitkats irl ban pls"

(No offense Tank)
So you tell the high leveled person to not use the internet while you say to the low leveled person to keep being salty because nobody cares?[DOUBLEPOST=1493386617][/DOUBLEPOST]Shouldn't it be the opposite?

Also this doesn't even matter because after the second warning it's literally like a week or so suspension.

For saying kys? oh man, I better kill myself.

What the fuck are you even on about? leveled? everyone is equal or are they not you fukin bigot racist sexist homophobe. (note: these last words are me making a joke)

I tell everyone the same thing. I don't care about their IQ or if they are "salty". If I'm playing rust and see something i disagree with, I'll say "neck yourself" to them, I'll do it anywhere I please.

Offense is taken, not given. You have a choice. I have an option or choice to take offense from your message for you assuming I do what you said I do. But I don't take offense because I choose not to.

See how it works?
Everyone is equal until it gets to someone insulting someone else and enjoying it.
Even if their IQ is 0 or 10000. A person that is enjoying from insulting others is a low leveled person and is not equal. Same with those who are enjoying from killing and stealing.

"Everyone is equal until it gets to someone insulting someone else and enjoying it."

So if I call you a name, then what? I'm less of a person? Should I be put in a concentration camp? I'm sorry I'm just trying to understand where equality ends? Equality and freedom of speech usually means I can say what I want and so can you.

Being called a bad word doesn't make either party less of a person.

Just because you say someone is less of a person, "low leveled", and not equal, doesn't mean it's true. Everyone is equal.

From what you're saying, you're being hypocritical and your words are insulting me. I feel insulted and offended.

So therefore you're wrong, you're less of a person and you should be warned twice for it, because this is just one step below saying "kys".

You may not feel like you're offending me, but what you said was offensive to me and insulting.

(I'm being serious and also using what you said against you. Do you see how this is playing out?)
I call those who insult, low leveled. So are you saying that you are toxic? If so, you offended yourself. I am using what you said against you. Do you see how this is playing out?

I never said to put them in a concentration camp? Is this the holocaust?
Those who enjoy the pain of others should not be called humans, and should be kicked away.[DOUBLEPOST=1493388009][/DOUBLEPOST]

False. I wanna see you calling your teacher "fuck dumb" and she won't punish you.
Freedom of speech lasts as long as you don't use 'bad' words. You can disagree with anyone and not be silenced, that's the freedom of speech, not calling the other person "fucking idiot go kill yourself you useless person".

More than just Jewish people were put into camps.

It sounds like someone has bullied you and called you bad names, and you should grow a thicker skin.

No, I'm not offended, and that's the beauty of it. You can CHOOSE to be offended or hurt. I am indeed saying I am toxic. Humans are a pitiful creature.

But the difference is that I can choose to be offended or not, you cannot choose if your words are bad or good, even if you mean them with good intentions. They're either allowed to be said, or not allowed to be said. If we go with higher punishments for "kys", then next will be what you said.

a warning for saying someone isn't a person. Because usually when you say "kill yourself" what follows before or after is "you're less of a person, you're low leveled, kill yourself", etc.

So what's really the difference between you and someone saying kys?

Someone will make a suggestion against what you said, or possibly could just report it right now. Etc. Who knows. (Note: Not saying I will/am going to report it. I truthfully don't care what is said to me.)

Either all of it's okay, or none of it. Even with good intent.
I am surely not the one who is going to cry because someone has called me "fucking idiot". There are people that will be insulted.
I've heard enough stories of people that has committed suicide because of "Shaming".
It's the exact thing as "Shaming".

Coming from a league and Overwatch background of gaming, when someone says KYS it honestly has no effect on me and anyone that I've noticed however it is probably because most of us have matured to the point where we can ignore people, this should not be allowed either way but idk about a severe punishment
In games, you can use the 'mute button' every time. so you won't hear them. This market is based on talking, so if you start muting everyone, there will be no reason being here. apart from the fact that you cannot mute people in forums.

Plus, I want you to ask yourself a question.
Do you prefer losing 10 games with toxic players or 10 games with nice players?
You will probably choose the nice players. Why? It does affect you in a way.

Saying "kys" online or in a video game holds as much to shaming as calling a can of beans that's still in the can, "a freshly made stew". Same for "fucking idiot".

Maybe you were insulted or shamed previously and this is why you hold your views, but also why you state "I am surely not the one who is going to cry".

Well then look at you, you grew a skin because of that.

People need to grow a skin. Why do you think they say that? Because when you use a shovel for so much, you grow callus. You're not used to it at first, but now you are, because callus helps you with shoveling, with sewing, knitting. It's a working mans hand (and womans hand).
You are probably right. But I am sure that it's not the right way to "grow a thick skin" and there is another way. There are people that can't stand shaming or be insulted and you can't prevent them from doing the things they like just because there are bad people everywhere.
It's still not a reason to allow people to insult here.

I haven't read this all and I don't plan to. If you're crying over someone saying "kys" online - then either man up, or get the hell out of here. 13 is seen as coming up on maturity - if you're not mature, or can't take a joke from a butthurt 12 year old - then you're right. There is a problem, not with them but you. I hope that you understand that this is life and it doesn't go so easy. (I of all people know that because I've had those thoughts, but I've got over it - and if you can't then you won't be able to do anything in life)

I'm not here to give you a lecture - but just know.

If you're offended - report it.
If you're still offended - report it
If after that nothing happened and you're STILL offended - man up or get out.
And if you're still offended then good luck in life, because you're obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed.
