Mate if your here just to slander my post and the way I run my server don't bother replying. I pay everything out of my own pockets atm and cannot afford for any other expenses other than server fees.

XenForo licenses are $160, so talking trash about an owner who 'can't afford' a XenForo license is just dumb.

You're supposed to be able to invest hundreds, possibly thousands into servers

since when was there a book of requirements to own a game server? he doesn't have to invest anything if he doesn't want to and a thread design is completely unnecessary for advertising a server

As others have said, not everyone has enough money to throw hundreds into a server and yet many servers succeed without massive investments.
