The void, or the sea?

I decided to make a spawn for servers on Minecraft, can you are tell me what is the best spawn border to make? A sea, beyond which the normal generation continues, or a void?

The sea could be good but also could cause loading chunks issues. It really depends, you can make some nice builds with the void as well. Just try to hide the void a bit or make a parkour which makes the void have more of a reason to be there in my opinion.
