TheHoax Network
(THN)
Welcome to my post involving TheHoax Network. I am the founder of this original network of Minecraft servers. We began from scratch and several names, this name astounded the team, mostly myself. In your interests, we offer full opportunities to choose how this network unfolds. As of now, our decision has been made that users will poll/vote their favorite features, and game modes for the next server that will be released one by one for your most attention and passion. TheHoax is an open network built off of the sweat and tears of hard working staff. The owners of the Network are most dedicated to assuring happiness along with eventful leisure for all staff members, and players of TheHoax network. We will be starting off by launching a total server count of 2. We offer currently 1 game mode and have released a beta of our network. Made of a proxy, meaning several servers connected by Bungee cord. We can add servers in at will, but as stated, only with highest votes will we develop this network one by one starting with KitPvP release attached to our hub. We will see how the launch turns out and determine some updates in the second gamemode release.
Staff Team
The structure of this network is built off of the backs from a small little group of staff members who put the time and effort in. The network does not pay their staff because we believe a staff member who wants to be a part of the network is willing to dedicate themselves in real time to take on any task needed at hand to better help the network in all of its glory to the bitter end, making sure the experience among our players is exquisite. Our second reason is budget, we do not have the budget to cover for several uncountable staff or applicants asking for a share of cash.
Positions
- Helper -
A strong withheld spot on the team with might and knowledge of our network. This position withholds knowledge and background of the network, able to answer any player's inquiry and find an Owner or Administrator able to fix any problem occurring.
- Moderator -
Our moderators help moderate forums to be sure there is no cussing bypassing. They inform the Owners and Admins if there is any inquiry exclusively for them. If an application has no review tag then they will apply it. Also merging posts and sending threads to the correct category of set in the wrong forum category. Moderators are willing and have shown themselves to be hardworking and effortlessly able to look after the players, checking to see they are having a good time and trying to make it the best time for every time those players or more new players have on TheHoax network. These staff members will look out for malicious hacks or cheating in all of the servers and prevent any from happening.
- Plugin Developer -
This position is for ones that are the most extremely dedicated to the network. They put in the time and skill to build this network from its name and up. With an intermediate or advanced knowledge of Java and other languages as well, these members are able to take on any possible request no matter how little or how big in their best timing to ensure an unlivable experience anywhere else stays within this network. They develop custom plugins such as game modes, mini-games, anti cheats, and etc. for this network.
- Web Developer -
These developers give a style to our websites. Can provide theme to our store, portal page, and forums site. Basic knowledge and intermediate knowledge of CSS, HTML, and intermediate or extreme knowledge of Xenforo.
- Builder -
Now what does a builder do and how are they credited?
Good question.
The answer is, they are the first and last impression on this network.
First thing you see when you join this network is the Hub and then you join game modes and you see more maps. We would like our builders to give their all into making custom maps with their blood and sweat. These builders are also the last impression because when a player logs off they will last remember how their experience was those last few minutes on our network and the quality of the map they were on. Builders are also credited by name and across TheHoax network social media.
