Hello all. Yes I'm a new member and I signed up today to post this and yes that makes me seem like an alt account. I'm not lol
But I'm going to give you my reviews so far anyways for Theminecrafthosting. I purchased 4 packages for my multiworld server VictoryPass and currently in the setup process 1 512mb for my Bungee 1 1gb for my hub and 2 2gb for my factions and skyblock. I had some issues getting familiar with Multicraft for my ftp as I have never used it before. I have sent in 3 tickets 1 because I forgot to add my promocode It was answered within 5 minutes and I am happy they have added my promo code to my packages, second support ticket for how to access the multicraft (total noob), That one was answered within 10 minutes with directions on how to access multicraft. and 3rd was a disregard because in a follow up on the second report Everything was explained to me.

I have to say that I am very impressed with the amount of personal attention I have received with my questions and the timely manner in which I received it.
For anyone wanting to Stress Test the functionality and claims of hardware issues. I invite anyone to come to Victorypass and check it out once my Build Team has finished configuring everything. I will reply with a follow up with the ip.

As far as everyone complaining about how the site looks. I love the minimalist design and ease of navigation through out the site. Granted I do wish there was a bit more info here and there to help noobs like me out but with the ticket response time this is a minor concern.

Only thing i might warn people on is that there is no plugin download feature in their multicraft, you have to download and upload plugins yourself. Do not get from here Terrible customer service! They take to long and when I open a ticket the have very bad grammar and spelling. That is all I have to say this is also why I stopped renting my server from them.

I would like to share my experience with using this host.

I've got a server about a few days ago considering it was extremely cheap. But because it was cheap I didnt really mind the shitty design and bad spelling. So after getting the server and paying for it it took about 10 minutes for me to be able to see the server on my client's list. So first thing first I go on multicraft and immediately get hit with an error telling me I'm blocked from logging into the server. I try changing the password and nothing works, after waiting for about 15 minutes it works! I finally get to login into it. I went onto the server to setup and test plugins but again the server was slow. And when I go back to multicraft what do I see? me being logged out so again I try to relog into multicraft and again get hit with the error. It persisted over many times. I tried reaching out to customer service using their awful ticketing system to get a refund as their website stated "You can get a refund within 24 hours of your purchase." I wait about 5-8 hours until someone replies to me asking what was wrong with mutlicraft, I reply to them stating the issue and now 24 hours later they completely delete my ticket. Not to mention the server keeps on stopping daily for no apparent reason. At this time Im just resolving my refund through paypal. Would not recommend this host its awful and lies about their service.

Wth, my server keeps stopping too! Then when i make a ticket and mention it they just close the ticket.

If youre so sorry why do you keep on ignoring my refund ticket? I dont want to have my server on a host which I cant trust with reliability. The fact that you guys claim you accept refunds that are made within 24 hours of purchase and then go on all around your ways to tell me that the issue is my end and my "password" is wrong and wont say a word about me getting my so guaranteed refund, isnt changing the fact how bad of a host you are. At this point I might as well contact paypal for forced chargeback.

When I used them a while ago, their support sucked. Additionally, I keep on receiving unsolicited spam from them with no option to opt out. (This is illegal by the way, you should read up on CAN-SPAM).

If you were once a person trying to find a budget friendly plan like me so you don't have to rely on your fellow players to pay for your overpriced server then this is the minecraft server hosting site for you. I was like most and found this very hard to believe and at first I thought that because of the cheap prices they were either a) going to have horrible processors or b) they were going to have the cheapest ram. After I tested a server of there's out by renting the 1gb for $1.25, I was shocked at how much it crushed my other servers. I took one of my servers at shockbyte and one at minecraft hosting pro and these servers they have here were about 7-10% faster. Now, that might not seem much to anyone who's reading this, but take a look at their features and your current hosting sites features (if you have one). For only $1.25 you still get unlimited players, unlimited SSD (I say unlimited, because they don't cap your server size, so they can get more money), fast connection (30-100ms ping), and free scheduled tasks for restarting your server. Also, one thing that I saw on there that is not on any other server hosting site that I've used or checked out is there unique account sharing and being able to view what servers your sharing the ip with (you can also get a dedicated ip just for your server).
If I find anything else that I like or dislike I will edit this post.

Also, I've been getting this error... Think you can move me to another machine? This started to happen after the fact I upgraded to 6gb.

We use 2x Intel Xeon X5690 3.47Ghz.
According to that java report, the server that is hosting my minecraft server has the Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5670 @ 2.93GHz. How would I go about to obtain one of those servers with the better processor, if I would need it. Also, do you guys ever think of letting volunteers do the tickets, so that tickets would be answered faster? I've only heard this from other people and haven't experienced a unanswered ticket.

What do you have against them?
Also, I've been getting this error... Think you can move me to another machine? This started to happen after the fact I upgraded to 6gb.


According to that java report, the server that is hosting my minecraft server has the Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5670 @ 2.93GHz. How would I go about to obtain one of those servers with the better processor, if I would need it. Also, do you guys ever think of letting volunteers do the tickets, so that tickets would be answered faster? I've only heard this from other people and haven't experienced a unanswered ticket.

Edit* it ended up generating a couple thousand of these reports and I had to delete them after I woke up and found out about it.
Just yesterday we had some servers down for upgrade. All new machines have X5690 and we are trying to upgrade our "old" nodes to X5690.

Also, I've been getting this error... Think you can move me to another machine? This started to happen after the fact I upgraded to 6gb.


According to that java report, the server that is hosting my minecraft server has the Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5670 @ 2.93GHz. How would I go about to obtain one of those servers with the better processor, if I would need it. Also, do you guys ever think of letting volunteers do the tickets, so that tickets would be answered faster? I've only heard this from other people and haven't experienced a unanswered ticket.

You've just convinced me not to rent there servers with your wonderful whiny complaint (I tried my best to make that obvious that last part was sarcastic.) I love what there doing because of the cheap budget prices. I consider 24 hours a reasonable time for a ticket to be replied to and that is usually how long it takes for a ticket to get a response.. Considering that they only have 14 people on staff and they have 4000 active clients. I want you to do this for me. Try... Just try to find a hoster, better then this one that offers the same or cheaper prices. Now, they could add a volunteer application that anyone could fill out and maybe get the chance to make a few thousand people happy, but who am I to judge them on how they do things. I'll make a pro/con list, because you failed to give me a valid reason. I am making this to show you and anyone one else who might be thinking about renting their servers. You can pay to add faster connection speeds and
it only costs an extra $2.50 a month or a $10
one time fee to increase your servers Gbit
connection by 2Gbits.

They have an autosave option without the need
for extra unwanted plugins.

In browser server file editor. Also auto detects
plugin config files. You can also remove plugins
with it.
There Upgrade/Downgrade system only allows for upgrades,
which made me puzzled on why they added downgrade option
when it does not work.

You can't choose where your server is hosted at when you
first buy one of there plans.

Broken bukkit plugin auto installer.

Pain in the butt to make the restart Scheduled tasks for
every day of the year or month.

Some tabs can be useless on their website/multicraft panel.

5.3% of the time if you stopped or restarted your server it would crash with the not enough ram report and then it would spam your ftp with 32kb crash logs. To be truthful, I think its more random then anything. It would keep your server from starting on average of 220 minutes. I only experienced this 3 times, so I only had 3 data values to go off of to get that average. Those data values were 10 minutes, 50 minutes, and 480 minutes.

Nearly every host offers an affiliate program. Why in the world do they charge to move location? I've never heard of any other host doing that. You don't need 2 Gbps when your server doesn't even come close to utilizing 1 Gbps, it's just a money grab. Every Multicraft and XenoPanel host offers autosave without plugins. Every Multicraft and XenoPanel host offers an in browser file editor, auto detect plugin files, and plugin manager.
