Whilst this may be of some annoyance to yourself, rule 1.8 states the following:

 1.8 Do not post content which is extremely low in quality, irrelevant, redundant, unnecessary, or meaningless. (e.g: “Looks nice, GLWS”, “Vouch, bought an {item}”)

Your customers could react with a “Winner”’ reaction, and/or leave you positive reputation with a description. I’m also of the opinion that the alternative methods stated above are more beneficial to you and your business/product/service as well.

If you stand by this, why don't you go through your own reputation? There is enough there to dispute and remove! I just counted 5 that are eligible for disputing.

Or we could go and report every single vouch on every thread out there? If they are all breaking the rules...

After you state your case, he doesn’t even tell you why it broke that rule, just that “it should be added as a reputation” which makes no sense, since vouching on threads is allowed.

I have a thread advertising my Discord Bot Development services in the Development forum (it's sticky) and yesterday, a lot of the users who had vouched for me on my thread DMed me on Discord telling me that their vouches were removed due to 'low quality/meaningless post".

What in the actual fuck? If this is a rule, how come it was enforced only on my thread? If a user had reported my posts deliberately (idek why because I haven't been here long enough to make enemies) what's the point in removing the posts only on my thread? How about the COUNTLESS other threads with vouches on them? What makes a vouch "meaningless" in any way?

Can I go around reporting every single vouch or meaningless post under 1.8? Clearly it seems like I can.

Mcm is actually going downhill, I was banned from Shoutbox for A MONTH because I advertised twice in a 20 minute period and it was only my third offense I asked the moderator if it was possible to reduce it and he said he doesn't want to he also said it was my 5th offense when it was only my 3rd, the staff that they're bringing in are terrible and the new rules are just unnecessary, this is why you can see MORE and MORE Exit scammer nowadays :/ I hope mcm realizes this and actually listens to the community for once

This has not happened to me but this is ridiculous. "Vouch" is something to let people know your service was good and useful. I usually don't like clicking through peoples profile just to scroll through some more rep and look for something as a vouch for this small service. MCM staff are being way to strict not allowing a vouch...

The only way to make a difference would be if:

• Everyone uses adblock, potentially including guests as well (for adsense ads)
• Everyone stops buying account upgrades
• Everyone stops buying MCM ads/stickies
• Everyone stops spending money on other purchases from MCM

Currently, users acknowledge problems, but continue spending money on the site and using it because there’s no comparable alternative and people want to make some money still. If running the forum brings in no profit, but rather negatives, it’d be a matter of losing money and having to close eventually or making changes to regain revenue.

Exactly. The only way for what I described to happen would be if everyone made a coordinated effort (unlikely) or if it happened naturally. By naturally, I mean if conditions continue declining to the point where a better place for sales comes about. It's easy to be cocky when you own the most popular place for a certain niche, but there comes a point where such gross negligence ends up in you losing your userbase because they no longer respect/care about the people, but rather a platform and when a better one comes, they move on.
