The chances of it getting through the senate are miniscule, all it has done is boosted his 2020 election campaign and given him an excuse as to why he's done relatively little since he lost the house.

Definitely not getting through the Senate but will probably end up hurting him in reelection.

It was bound to happen eventually. I doubt he’ll be removed from office though.

Yeah it's mostly because they don't push the actually good candidates like Yang, making all of them a joke[DOUBLEPOST=1576778273][/DOUBLEPOST]
Did you even read what he said ? OH THE IRONY
Of course the media will push whoever they want.. it's not like we have never seen this happen recently at all! in the uk maybe

The thing is, the Democratic Party fails to rally behind one candidate. They want power (specifically the White House) but they are not willing to compromise for it. The Republican Party got Trump into office primarily because he is just moderate enough (policy-wise) to swing Moderate-Democrat and Independent voters yet the Democratic Party has this fantasy that they will swing Moderate-Republican and Independent voters with hyper-Liberal candidates. Personally, I am not a fan of Trump and would much rather vote for a Moderate on either sides of the isle or even an Independent, though when given the option between Biden, Bernie, Warren, Yang and Trump, I am always going to vote for Trump. He has yet to do any real damage in the White House. As of October 2019, unemployment is at 3.6% (down from 4.9% in 2016). Moreover, in 2016, our GDP saw a growth of just 1.9% followed by 2017-2019 when our GDP has been stayed between 2.1% and 3.1%, higher than it ever got under the Obama administration (no disrespect to Obama- he did raise our GDP from -2.6% in his first year to +2.6% in his third year), and we have made serious progress in combating ISIS in the east. My point is: the Articles of Impeachment passed by House Democrats was merely an attempt to scratch Trump's image going into the 2020 election year. They need some serious help if they actually want to put up a fight against Trump's campaign which, at this point, is armed to the teeth with (compelling) evidence that the Democrats spent his first 4 years in office trying to remove him, which is an "attack" on our right to vote. Trump is able to swing Moderates and the "average" American much easier than Liberal candidates simply due to his ability to generalize the Democrats' attacks on him. He makes it about America's freedoms while the Democrats try to do the same exact thing but do so pretentiously-they have no room to say "Your vote counts" as they have spent 4 years attempting to nullify the 2016 election result. They cannot say "We relate to you, the American people" as they have spent the majority of their adult lives in Washington D.C. taking millions from special interest groups and lobbyists. Not to say Trump or Republicans have not, though I can say wholeheartedly the career politicians in the Democratic field have done it far more than Trump has in only 3 years.

So all in all, the Democrats will never have even a remote remote chance to win the White House with a hyper-Liberal candidate unless they miraculously remove Trump from office in the Senate, which they would need the Republican's to do for them. Except I would bet now it will not happen. Democrats will vote with their fellow Democrats because they wanna keep power from Republicans and Republicans will vote with other Republicans because they want to keep power from Democrats. This country is simply too partisan for it's own good and we will surely see an outsider (Moderate-Independent) elected to the White House within the next two decades. Political parties are a lethal poison to Democracy and if we cannot get back to bipartisanship soon, the United States will just be yet another failed attempt at a Constitutional Democratic-Republic.
