Tips On Making A Good Network/Server

Hi,

I am Zoxic, Owner & Founder of CraftedMC and since lots of servers are popular, I really need tips on how to increase my playerbase. Not the amount of people that join, but the actual PLAYERBASE.

My server gamemodes:
- OP-Prison
- Factions
- Parkour
- Creative

We do have custom plugins in our community, but my friend says 74% of the people who join your server won't know what a "plugin" is.

I wouldnt say insanely, obv the stat was made on the spot but it might be close to real life figures. Plus those who DO know, barely know shit

Don't have over-used gamemodes like:

Because: why would I join yours with 5 players than another with 100+ players?

Really though, lot's of people wonder why their server isn't getting popular... well... it's honestly because of the games that they provide. Get a developer and come up with an awesome new game-mode.

That was a tip I didn't need. I'm still grateful for having that? I asked for something specifically. If he doesn't have the right answer to my thread, I still took it as advice but it's not exactly what I'm looking for.

The only way to increase your player-base is to get some unique games... or... like I said...

I am his dev and the factions server he has right now is basically 100% custom[DOUBLEPOST=1445098978,1445098867][/DOUBLEPOST]But i do agree with you a cool new gamemode would be cool

Rent a .org slot for a day, gets your playerbase to around 15-30 depending on the server & the community.
Make this money back within a week or two, keep investing over and over again. Then simply rent a .org slot for 2 weeks, and that'll get your playerbase to atleast 75+. From there on, bobs your uncle and you got yourself a awesome income.

We have money to buy topg ads but we are not sure if it would be worth it
