I own the domain: cubecraftgames.nl which I'm wanting to rent out to other servers. I tested it on my small server and it got me 82 players join in just 24h. This is from Wednesday night to Thursday night, so at weekends I'd expect more like 150 players join per 24h.

Hopefully someone will take that risk and then they'll be able to Vouch the method. Also, I have a decent rep so that should help the trust issue.

Obviously I cannot guarentee players but on average I've seen around 80-100 players per day during weekdays

How would this domain alone gain so many players is what I don't understand...

Ever heard of CubeCraft? The multi-thousand player network, people accidentally sometimes put a .nl instead of .net/.com and then I'll redirect it to your server IP. Obviously most of the players that join will be from Netherlands.

Yeah I've heard of the network before, but what I mean is that I don't get how that many players would put the wrong IP in, and if they did put the wrong IP in by accident realistically it seems like they would leave the server right after they find out it's not the server they intended to join.

I'm looking to buy advertisement it's just that I don't really see how this would work..

No, not all players join and stay however around 5-10 will probably stay and save the IP each day. I also own the domain mineplexe.eu however this gets very limited traffic and probably not even worth renting out

You'd be better off linking it to one server. The problems above w/ no proof and changing IPs will lead to only the seller profiting. You might look into selling a server and using this domain.
