My name is John or ItzOmg and I made this thread to ask for a potential sponsorship-parthnership with hosting providers-developers.
(Sorry for my grammar and spelling mistakes but english aren't my native language)
Q.What is the project?
A.My idea is a minecraft server-community based on a minecraft server that will have one unique gamemode.
It will called City Wars and it will actually be a factions server but with some very unique commands,buildings and overall structure.
Q.What the unique/special will City Wars have?
A.City Wars will only have 2 big Factions: Police and Anarchists
You will be able to choose your side once you join the server for first time(I am thinking in adding a payed option to change your side after you have picked but we'll see).
Police will include 1 kit named Standard and it will include something special (It will have a cooldown)
Anarchists will have 1 kit named Riot_Starter that will also include something special (It will also have a cooldown)
Once in a while (Maybe once a day) a random riot will start usually when the server has many people online.
In a riot Police Faction Members and Anarchist Faction Members will get teleported to a special arena (Downtown City Style
) and the riot will start.
Then factionswill start fighting with the special kit that they will be given and whoever wins will choose between a kit upgrade or in-game money to get better equiped.
Other than that it will be like normal factions except that if you are a police faction member you won't be able to hit an other police faction member (same for anarchist faction members)
Q.Sounds good,but how you will be simulate a real-life riot?
A. A special resource pack will be made to simulate weapons and particicles that don't exist in minecraft like smoke and gasoline trails.Also special buildings and terraforms will exist to make a more realistic experience.
Q.I see that needs many people to work on it.Do you have a bugdet or people to help?
A.No I do not have budget and people to help me.That is why I do this post.To get people help me.Also because I don't have a problem to give 100% of the donations to people that work for the server and server expenses.I do not make the server for money of fame but for a good experience and to take minecraft to a whole new level.
Q.What we can offer to you?
A.If you are a hosting provider we will need host-web host-domain and all that stuff.Your company name will be displayed in the server on the website and on our banners.
I do not personally have a problem to have a banner of your company in my signature on forums.
If you are a developer,we will obviously need plugins and coding stuff that I do not personally know how to manage.In exchange for your services you will get a large amount of the donations money and a very good in-game rank.
If you want to be part of the team dm and I will give you a position.My only requirement is to be 14+ years old and be able to communicate.In exchange for your services you will get a very good in-game rank and later money from the donations.
