"VCS" as in Vouch copies. To become known in the community and for people to trust your product, they want to try to see if it lives up to the quality that's detailed in your thread. They are very commonly free, especially for people with rep (reputation) mainly due to the fact that if they trust your product, and people trust them, you are more likely to have an increase in sales as your product has been verified (unofficially) to have a good reputation.

These banners look perfectly fine to me and I wouldn’t have a problem paying the requested prices. HartyMcSmarty Mc-Market typically represents a region of poverty. Users here glorify the dollar down to the cent. This isn’t because people are entirely poor, but it’s becsuse they’re young and don’t have access to a job. Therefore, the only money that ever funnels into mc-market is through the people who have access to that source of money. If anyone ever tells you that your product is expensive or rediculous, then don’t listen to them. They’re accomedating to people who want less quality for less price. Your work is what you believe your time is worth. Companies that are legitimate and willing to keep a long run will want someone who charges for high-quality work and the price won’t be entirely relevant. To where if you have someone that will do a “good” job for a low price will make a companie’s credibility look low because what if the designer only knows one style? Anyways, all in all, you’re art looks worth the price, and don’t get discouraged if no one buys right away. Get yourself out there, get a little more known. Drop some banners in threads, or let people know what you’ve done and work on the little things.You are kind-of overpricing..Banners should be $6-8 depending on skill level. a thumbnail is usually priced around $5 because it has one render and banners have 2. Then again, you said it would be done ASAP so this might be a good thread for people who need theirs done right away. I usually take 2-3 hours per banner (spread across 2-4 days), though. Also. It looks like you're using blender, which is a free program, and you shouldn't be charging that much (but if you are using c4d still keep the price a little down). Gl with the shop

Banners are not only 6-8 dollars depending on skill level, there's really great people out there charging 30 dollars for a banner, or even higher. Your point is however, they should not charge high because they're using something for free and making money out of it. Your reason is kind of, in my opinion, not really matching, yes, they should not charge high, but because they're kinda new to the market, and not that they're using something free, which that's why they can give VC's, or charge for low amounts, but not dirt cheap where there's no profit for time dedicated. It's not about any workplace, yes, the render might be a little bit higher in terms of pricy softwares, like you said C4D, but then, it's nothing with the time given. I am not here to spread hate, but more so correction.
And, Harty, it's pretty good for a beginner! You'll just have to work on those sharp places, the elbow, and the breast is kind of sharp for some reason, good luck with sales!

I’m also canadian so us currency is less for me, and less for them to pay, same reason everything is in USD, I use C4D for all my gfx work. Not blender. I also have deals for certain work (3 renders for 5.00 CAD) (3 logos for 2.50 CAD) (100$ for unlimited renders, lasts 1 year.)
