Upgrading my PC: Where do I begin?

Hi MCM,

For quite sometime now I've been interested in upgrading my computer's specs. I can't afford to flat out buy a new computer so I thought it might be wise to invest in new parts to my PC.

Where should I begin?

Manufacturer: Dell
Model: Inspiron 560
Processor: Intel Celeron CPU 450 @ 2.20 GHz 2.19 GHz
RAM: 2.00

It's an old computer but it's done me justice for the past 6 years or so. I'm a complete noob when it comes to the hardware aspect of computers so any advice would be nice.

Remove the hard drive and cd drive and the rest is trash if you want custom pc. What are you looking to use your pc for?

Your computer is bad, I suggest deleting System32.

Yeah compared to modern day computers it's pretty terrible, it's why I've come for help to upgrade it[DOUBLEPOST=1446767924,1446767875][/DOUBLEPOST]

Casual gaming I guess (being able to run games such as CS, Gmod, MC, ect) nothing to graphic/RAM intensive and for casual use

NEVER delete System 32. It essentially deletes Windows from your computer, effectively destroying it.

Upgrade your graphics card.

You can't download more RAM. RAM is a fast accessed memory cash that can be gained by getting more physical RAM

RAM - up it to 8GB/16GB whatever you can afford.
Then processor - go for the 6700k i7, works great for me.
The graphics card - GTX 980 TI Lightning.
