RAM - up it to 8GB/16GB whatever you can afford.
Then processor - go for the 6700k i7, works great for me.
The graphics card - GTX 980 TI Lightning.

you really think his Mobo can handle this?



My opinion is, scrap your current computer and get another new one, with decent specs.
Post your budget here and someone will help.

Why not. If he's upgrading he may as well just do it all. Get a new processor and you usually need a new motherboard and RAM.

He needs to upgrade it,
but there's no way in hell his computer could run that atm.
He needs a better mobo before he can even consider the specs you suggested.
