Verified Accounts should be allowed to Advertise

Since not every person has a business or a service on MCM and just wants to sell, buy, or trade something, then only having verified accounts advertise should be allowed. The time would be 15 minutes for advertising, and only verified accounts will be allowed to advertise. This idea would result in less spam and because MCM needs to verify the account and give a tag accordingly, it can be distinguished easily as a verified account.

This kind of perk would basically be any registered entity or company.

• Verified Accounts (requires approval): Must be certified and have proof of certification at any given moment. Business badge or rank tag given on profiles with a registered entity.

Solution: A color,badge, or tag shows the account is verified.

I never really found advertising in the shoutbox that annoying. I honestly thought that was one of the main purposes behind the shoutbox. People still talk about services but don't link them to threads.

Basically the account would be made and a pm gets sent to staff. They would then have a form to fill out like scam reports and they would deny/confirm it. They would then get something on MCM to represent it's verified versus any other account.

What would actually be the verification about? What would the form be? Why would they do this?

Adding a verified tag makes a user seem more trusted. He'd be able to go on a scam. The victim that gets scammed could easily say "Well.. I trusted him since the MC-Market staff verified him"

I feel like we keep hearing this isin't a place to have fun it's a marketplace. Then we get updates and rules like this to promote to community more.

It's like you said. If you have a service or business, you should have an account prioritizing that exactly. Otherwise if there are no verified accounts, then why should you promote on a regular account? It makes sense to have an account dedicated to advertising your service or business.

I'm not going to make a new account and gain 2000+ rep all over again just so I can advertise my service. This new rule is pathetic. I posted ads maybe once or twice a day and it helped my business tremendously. Now I can't even advertise my market on a market forum. It's ridiculous. There shouldn't be these ridiculous complicated rules, everyone should just be allowed to promote their services on here and if they spam or get excessive with it they can be punished accordingly. We're all suffering because a few members got annoying.

Maybe have different levels of verification so that anyone that have a personal account have a chance of advertising let say a level 1 vertified account for example like me do configuration service but can only advertise once per hour. Level 2 30 mins and Level 3 15 mins.

Out of curiosity, do you hate any idea that doesn't benefit you or that you don't like for your own reasons? Maybe you should try to think outside the box and in the perspective of others and not just think about yourself. No matter how many ideas I see, you and Nara always do the same reaction, rating, whatever you call it. Not only that, you both then fight the thread with similar concepts.

My point is, think of others and stop being selfish and thinking of only yourself. Why not find solutions or possible solutions instead of just thinking of negativites? That's what wrong with MCM. No one thinks more about ideas. They just think of their own ideas and their own bias opinions.

I am thinking of others. How am I being selfish at all? Every single person who benefited from shoutbox advertisements is being punished. Every single person who donated so that they have somewhere to promote their services is suffering. We're not the only ones against this. The pointless off-topic conversations should come second, and focus on the marketing aspect of MC-Market should be first. I don't understand why anyone would be against this.
